Alison Logue – Irene-Wakonda – (6’0/C/2020) – A very strongly built center. Moves surprisingly well and has a great basketball IQ in the post area. A good finisher inside that uses her size well. Alison is a good and willing passer out of the post. She blocks a lot of shots of players shorter than her. She controls the paint and doesn’t allow any easy baskets in the paint. She moves well enough to track down long rebounds and grab loose balls.
Malloy O’Malley – Irene-Wakonda – (5’6/G/2020) – A big-time threat from the three-point line. Not very explosive off the dribble, mainly looking for the spot-up/set three. She gets her feet set up well and consistently to always be on target with her shot.
Katie Johansen – Viborg-Hurley – (5’7/G/2020) – Plays her role well. Katie plays within the game and takes open shots, trying not to force up any bad shots. A good passer, moving the ball and finding open shooters. A good and active defender, always in a good position. Closes out well defensively on shooters.
Sydney Voss – Viborg-Hurley – (5’10/G-F/2021) – Has a knack for scoring the ball. Sydney finds a variety of ways to score, scoring inside and outside with an array of moves and counter moves. A quick first-step which allows her to get to the hoop. Uses her spin move quite frequently to score. Can play inside and likes to post up smaller players. Comes up with backside boards and pushes the ball up the court by either passing it ahead or bringing the ball up herself. Defensively, she makes plays as well; getting steals and deflections.
NeVaeh Ronke – Viborg-Hurley – (5’11/F-C/2021) – NeVaeh is an impressive athlete, which she uses to be a standout player and playmaker for Viborg-Hurley. Her best ability is her jumping ability. More of a vertical athlete than a lateral moving athlete. You can see her routinely finishing off the glass and getting to the free-throw line. It seems like the defense doesn’t have an answer for her simple go-to move. Just to be plain and simple, on the defensive side of the ball, she comes down with a ton of boards.
Kayden Steele – Newell – (5’10/G-F/2021) – Hustles non-stop, always on the move. A big-time motor. Gets the ball and goes coast-to-coast straight at the defense. Kayden attacks the defense at will with the ball in her hand. Shoots the three and is simply always looking to score or put pressure on the defense. Kayden is an impressive scoring threat that is very fun to watch.
Nora O’Malley – Irene-Wakonda – (5’8/G-F/2022) – A good and steady player for a Sophomore. Shows good speed and athleticism. Uses her athleticism and body well.
Katie Knodel – Irene-Wakonda – (5’3/G/2022) – A super quick underrated guard. Katie’s lateral movement and movement skills are extremely impressive; you’re not going to find much quicker. Katie can also knock down an open shot and has a fairly quick release on her shot.
Coral Mason – Viborg-Hurley – (5’9/G/2023) – Started as an eighth-grader, Coral is a player that just gets it done. She’s a versatile player that can play inside and outside. She’s definitely someone to follow to see how she develops.
Denae Mach – Viborg-Hurley – (5’9/G-F/2023) – A good up-and-coming player. Plays passing lanes very aggressively trying for deflections and steals. Denae has a very nice shot and shoots deep twos and has a very nice three-point shot.
