Oakley Jandreau – Highmore-Harrold – (5’11/G-F/2020) – An athletic player that relies on her athleticism. An excellent playmaker for her team that is highly involved. She can make all the plays and can hit a jumper/three for you. Can play in post/lane area and from the outside. Possesses a crossover and drives strong to the hoop. A scrappy defender that can stay in front on the perimeter with her athleticism. A defender that anticipates the ball well making steals.
Emily Kranz – Waverly-South Shore – (6’3/C/2021) – Very good height and length and uses it well. Ability to shoot the mid-range jumper. She can finish with her left and has a smooth shooting stroke from the free throw line. Defensively, she plays straight up making the offensively player score over top of her; which they rarely do. Emily is a defensive force blocking and altering a ton of shots. She’s not a matchup problem guarding opposing guards on the perimeter either. Emily is simply a rebounding machine for her team. One of her best traits is that she keeps the ball up high and away from the defense when she grabs and offensive or defensive board. She’ll get an offensive rebound and keep it high and put it up for two.
Lydia Schroeder – Waverly-South Shore – (5’6/G/2021) – A solid guard in general. Handles the ball and runs the offense. A threat from three if you leave her open. A good on-ball defender. A good passer and decision maker around the perimeter that puts zip on her passes. Moves well laterally, which helps her play tough defense.
Kenedy Koepsell – Howard – (5’7/G/2021) – A player that is not going to wow you but she plays her role and helps her team. Has a high basketball IQ and plays within the game. A good passer always looking for her teammates. Can handle the ball with both hands and handles ball pressure well. A solid and steady defender that is always in good position. Kenedy has shown that she can deny and chase the opposing team’s best guard.
Cerington Jones – New Underwood – (6’0/F-C/2021) – A very athletic 6’0 that runs and moves with ease; very quick for her size and has great closing speed. A lanky player but she doesn’t play like it. She is able to finish inside very well. She rebounds the ball with authority.
Avery Heinert – New Underwood – (6’1/C/2021) – A strong 6’1 player. Not extremely skilled but plays with strength and grit. A player that gets the job done for you. She posts up very hard and is always trying to out-position the other team. Extends up high and attacks the ball for boards.
Trinity White Hat – White River – (5’9/G-F/2021) – Trinity is a threat from three and that is her go to shot. She lines up threes and shoots deep ones at that. She can handle the ball and go off the dribble as well but more-so looks for the three. A left-handed player that is fairly skilled and makes a variety of plays.
Emma Madsen – New Underwood – (5’7/G/2022) – Another solid guard that plays within the game and makes plays and will hit a shot when she has the opportunity. Picks her spots when to take her shot. A quick guard.
Hannah Miller – Langford – (6’0/G/2022) – A very long player with long arms. Hannah is a very versatile and athletic-type player. At 6’0 brings the ball up the court for Langford. Not a pure ball-handler but gets to where she needs to get. More right hand dominant taking care of the ball but she is always making plays. She blocks shots from the guard position and boards it well too. She plays the opposing ball-handler very hard, getting in their face and making it very difficult for them. She has a really good knack for simply coming up with the ball throughout the game. With some refining and experience to her game, Hannah is on her way to really being an impactful player.
Mallory Miller – Langford – (6’3/C/2023) – A towering 6’3 that is only a Freshman. A player that runs fairly well for her size. A true post player that finishes inside with ease. Langford really looks to lob the ball up to her over-top for her to finish. She can hit shots inside the lane as well; has a good and soft shooting touch. She is a great paint and rim protector for her team. Look for Mallory to be a true force inside for the remainder of her career.
