<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The game started off with a quick five points by </span><b>[player_tooltip player_id="54106" first="Judea" last="Watkins"]</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> of Windward before Mater Dei’s </span><b>[player_tooltip player_id="102665" first="Meaali’i" last="Amosa"] </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">got the Monarchs their first bucket. Juju Watkins gets fouled and makes both free throws to put Windward up 7-2 in the first three minutes. Few possessions later after the Monarch’s fail to score, Watkins converted an and-1 that gave Windward a 10-2 lead. In the next two minutes the game got more competitive as the Monarchs brought the game to within two with a bucket from </span><b>[player_tooltip player_id="49224" first="Brooke" last="Demetre"]</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">, score was 15-13. With 24 seconds left the Monarchs tied the game at 15 with a bucket from </span><b>Ayanna Johnson</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">. After a Windward turnover, Johnson makes another layup with two seconds left giving Mater Dei a 17-15 lead going into the 2nd quarter.</span></span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The 2nd Quarter started off with a three pointer by </span><b>[player_tooltip player_id="49224" first="Brooke" last="Demetre"]</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> before Watkins gave the Wildcats their first bucket leaving the score was 20-17. The Wildcats continued to try and get Watkins the ball and it resulted in numerous turnovers, but before a Windward timeout with 5 minutes left in the 1st half, the Monarchs go on a 12-1 run, score was 29-18. To counter this run the Wildcat went on a quick 11-0 run to bring the score to 29-29, capped off by a Watkins three pointer. Watkins would get fouled again and again which resulted in a Windward score of 33-29 on her converting on all 4 free throws. Buckets went back and forth by the end of the half the score was 36-33. Watkins finished the half with 22 points for Windward as the leading scorer of the game. The next closest scorer is Mater Dei’s Soleil Montrose with 10 points. <strong>Final score of the game was 77-65 Mater Dei over Windward.</strong></span></span>

<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><b>2022, 5’9, SG, Soleil Montrose</b> - She is an imposing guard that is very active on the floor, she can score from all three levels and she is also a great rebounder with her size. She defends well and is a terror to score on the floor at all times. <strong>She ended the game with 20 points.</strong></span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><b>2021, 5’5, SG, [player_tooltip player_id="102661" first="Alyssa" last="Frescas"] </b>- Alyssa is a bonefide shooter on the floor, she will take a shot from anywhere out there, she is just not a shooter, she is a shot maker. Coaches know the difference and they want to recruit girls like Alyssa who are shot makers. Alyssa is tough and ready to take on the job on the defensive end as well, she is really active with the ball and can make plays for her team as a point guard. <strong>She ended the game with 16 points.</strong></span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><b>2023, 5’4, PG, [player_tooltip player_id="104205" first="Caia" last="Elisaldez"] </b>- Very good point guard with a great tool kit for her age, she is quick, she is strong and she is a tough defender for her team. She has great handles, is able to make plays for her team and also punish you if you make a mistake, she will then just take you off the dribble to the rim or use her floater in the paint. Shoots it well from fifteen feet and in, will have to improve the outside shot to be able to play at the next level. <strong>She ended the game with 14 points.</strong></span>

<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><b>2021, 6’3, SF, [player_tooltip player_id="49224" first="Brooke" last="Demetre"] </b>- Brooke is that prototypical small forward that can really score the ball when she puts her mind to it. She is skilled at scoring from all three levels and is becoming a better rebounder for her team. She shoots it well, she handles at her size and she is long and lanky and disrupts the offense with her size. <strong>She ended the game with 13 points. (Signed with Stanford)</strong></span>

<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><b>2023, 6’2, CG, [player_tooltip player_id="54106" first="Judea" last="Watkins"] </b>- JuJu is a problem, no matter what you throw at her, she is gonna find a way to get a bucket for her team. She is lethal getting to the rim, she can finish thru contact to get the hoop and the harm. She is a threat to score from all three levels on the floor and she is very skilled with the ball in her hands. Her defensive side of the floor is improving, this will come with age, she is the total package and has shown it all year long.<b> She ended the game with 28 points.</b></span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><b>2020, 6’1, SF, [player_tooltip player_id="49165" first="McKayla" last="Williams"] </b>- McKayla is the veteran of this group and she is doing a great job helping the team stay focused and leading them like a true leader. She is skilled as well with the ball and is a good defender on the ball and in help side.
