<p class="western"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span lang="en-US">Several great defenders in the low post that really shine in this 21 class, dominate players like 6-2 [player_tooltip player_id="151306" first="Temira" last="Poindexter"] (Sapulpa) and [player_tooltip player_id="151335" first="Brianna" last="Wietelman"] (Oklahoma Christian Academy) 103 blocks were Oklahoma’s elite shot blockers in the ’19-20 season.</span></span></span></p> <p class="western"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span lang="en-US"><b> <span style="font-family: arial black,sans-serif;">[player_tooltip player_id="151335" first="Brianna" last="Wietelman"], 5-11, C/F, 2021, Oklahoma Christian Academy </span></b></span></span></span><span style="font-family: arial black,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span lang="en-US"><b>@b_wietelman</b></span></span></span></p> <p class="western"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span lang="en-US">Just a great player down load in every aspect, Wietelman was a force in the paint defensively blocking 103 shots in 22 games for a 4.7 bpg. and also was equally impressive at the offensive end of the court. One of the best low post players in Oklahoma, Brianna was a matchup problem for teams on a consistent basis. </span></span></span></p> <p class="western"><span style="font-family: arial black,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span lang="en-US"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="151306" first="Temira" last="Poindexter"], 6-2, F, 2021, Sapulpa </b></span></span><span style="font-size: medium;"><span lang="en-US"><b>@TDexOnPoint</b></span></span></span></p> <p class="western"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span lang="en-US">Another amazing player that has great size, 6-2, and major ability on both ends of the court for a talented Sapulpa team, Poindexter had 50 blocks for a 1.9 bpg. average and 27 games and was among those players that was toughest to score against as well. Size and skill, Temira is a class riser in the 21 group of low post dominators. </span></span></span></p> <p class="western"><span style="font-family: arial black,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span lang="en-US"><b>Mikaela Hall, F, 2021, Lawton Eisenhower</b></span></span></span></p> <p class="western"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span lang="en-US">Hall is one of the more impressive low post players we have seen and one that just keeps refining her game and getting better and better. Hall is a player that can make great things happen on defense and proved just that in 2019-20 with 32 blocks and a 1.2 bpg. average. </span></span></span></p> <p class="western"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span lang="en-US"><b> <span style="font-family: arial black,sans-serif;">[player_tooltip player_id="151342" first="Tawny" last="Billy"], F, 5-9, 2021, Tecumseh</span></b></span></span></span></p> <p class="western"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span lang="en-US">Billy was a key past of the defensive game plan for Tecumseh and a low post presence that was a good one in 2019-20. Tawny racked up 19 blocks in 22 games and was a very effective defender for the Savages. Has some of the best defensive instincts we have seen.</span></span></span></p> <p class="western"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span lang="en-US"><b> <span style="font-family: arial black,sans-serif;">Tizrah Moore,F, 6-1, 2021, Jones</span></b></span></span></span></p> <p class="western"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span lang="en-US">Moore was a good one for Jones and a player that finished the season with 19 blocks in 23 games and was one of the most active defenders, along with being a difficult matchup for players she faced. Moore has some of the best skills in the junior class and really could have a huge senior campaign.</span></span></span></p>
