The NCHSAA 4A State Playoffs features some regular-season rematches that should be fun to watch. Here's a look at the Final Four preview in the East and West.
<h5 style="text-align: center">Millbrook Lady Wildcats (24-6) vs. Southeast Raleigh Lady Bulldogs (26-1) - 4:00 PM (Capel Arena)</h5>
The Millbrook Lady Wildcats and Southeast Raleigh Lady Bulldogs will face off for the third time in the 2019-20 season in the East region finals. The Lady Bulldogs have won both meetings by 20+ points but the Lady Wildcats have been hot coming in after upsetting No. 2 seed Wakefield in overtime in the Third Round. <strong>Reiven Douglas</strong>, [player_tooltip player_id="116905" first="Reychel" last="Douglas"] and <strong>Keanna Rembert</strong> will be prepared to play at their highest level against a rotation of [player_tooltip player_id="116847" first="Anya" last="Poole"], [player_tooltip player_id="116849" first="Jamia" last="Hazell"], [player_tooltip player_id="116858" first="Destini" last="Abramson-Lee"], Skylar Quillet and [player_tooltip player_id="116897" first="Bobbi" last="Smith"].
<h5 style="text-align: center">Vance Lady Cougars (25-5) vs. Mallard Creek Lady Mavericks (27-2) - 6:45 PM (Tarton Complex)</h5>
The Vance Lady Cougars and Mallard Creek Lady Mavericks will face off in what should be another exciting meeting between the teams. The Lady Mavericks went 2-1 during the regular season, winning recently on Feb. 22 in the conference tournament championship game. Freshman guard <strong>Samyah Suffren</strong> is coming off a 22 point performance in their victory over Northwest Guilford. <strong>Trinity Moreland</strong> and [player_tooltip player_id="116850" first="Kyanna" last="Morgan"] will look to slow down Suffren and Mallard Creek in what should be a battle.
