Marissa Murray | 5’10 F | Senior | Kimberly
Led the team to a sectional final appearance this season. She averaged 8.8 points per game and was second in her team in scoring. A consistent factor for Kimberly, Murray shot 71% from the free throw line. She led her team in rebounding with 4.9 per game. Her aggressiveness in the paint helped her put up big numbers this season. In a win over a tough Green Bay Preble squad, Murray scored 9 points. In a victory over Neenah she scored a season high 17 points. In a loss to a state-bound Bay Port squad, she grabbed 9 boards.
Emma Wollert | 6’2 F | Senior | Sheboygan Falls
Leading her team in both scoring and rebounding is Wollert. She’s efficient in the paint and does a great job using her body to find position. This season she averaged 13.6 points per game for her team. An outside scoring threat as well, Wollert made over 15 three point shots this season. In a win over Valders, she scored dropped a season-high 26 points and shot 67% from the floor. In a win over Kewaskum, Wollert scored 14 points and shot 80% from the floor. A defensive threat as well, Wollert averaged 8.9 rebounds per game for Sheboygan Falls. In a win against Pulaski she grabbed a season-high 13 boards. Wollert is committed to Truman State to play volleyball.
Sydney Burris | 6’0 F | Senior | Martin Luther
It was a huge senior season for Burris. She led her team in scoring and rebounding with huge numbers. She was successful on both ends of the floor and developed into one of the conference’s best scorers. She creates space for herself and runs the floor well in transition. She averaged 17.4 points per game. In a win over Whitewater, Burris scored a season-high 30 points for her team. A traditional post player, Burris has so many moves in her bag. She’s super dynamic on the block. In a win over Greenfield she dropped 24 points. Burris also leads her team in rebounding with 11.2 per game. A fantastic defensive rebounder, Burris has the strength to hold a good box out and a nose for the ball. In a win over Turner she grabbed 18 boards.
Lexi Miller | 5’10 F | Senior | Onalaska
Miller is extremely versatile. She has the combination of size and quickness that make her very tough to defend. She has great post moves but has developed into quite the explosive attacker on offense. This season she averaged 9.1 points per game. In a close sectional loss over Hortonville, Miller dropped 17 points. Leading up to the finals she was putting up consistently big numbers. In a game against Sparta, Miller scored 15 points in the win. She’s long and uses it to her advantage on defense. She has great footwork in the paint. Miller averaged 4.9 rebounds per game. She grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds over a tough Holmen squad. Miller is committed to Division II Newberry College.
Mya Lamonska | 5’10 F | Senior | Oakfield
Helping lead her team to the number one spot in the conference was Lamonska. She is a traditional post player who has mastered the reverse pivot attack this season. She averaged 12.4 points this season. In a great team win over Catholic Central, she scored 20 points. She’s fundamentally sound and does a great job backing down her defender. She finds herself getting a lot of points off transition layups and finishes with composure. Lamonska averaged 9 rebounds per game this season. In a win over Salam, she grabbed 15 boards, 10 of which were offensive rebounds. In a close game at Hustisford, she grabbed 13 boards, 8 of which were offensive.
Erina Weiss | 5’11 F | Senior | Brookfield Academy
Weiss was a key role player into the success of Brookfield Academy this season. She always guarded the opposing teams big and did very well. She understands her body and moves well without the ball. Often seen setting a useful screen or posting up in the paint, Weiss was able to find ways to score the basketball. She averaged 10.2 points per game for her team. In a huge playoff win over a top Racine Lutheran team, she scored 15 points. A rebounding specialist as well, Weiss averaged 10 rebounds per game. She’s strong in the lane and consistently holds a strong box out. In a win over Lake Country Lutheran, Weiss grabbed a season-high 19 boards.
