The quarterfinals have come to a conclusion and it is now semi-finals for the 4A state championships. Every quarterfinal game, besides one, was very competitive setting up some fun matchups for the semi’s. There are nearly a dozen future Division 1 players between the final four teams, so the stage is set for some good basketball!

(1) Woodinville vs. (6) Glacier Peak

Notes: Woodinville squeezed out a win against Beamer behind 2021 5’11 PF [player_tooltip player_id="82922" first="Mia" last="Hughes"] and her 34 points. Other players to watch include 2022 5’8 PG [player_tooltip player_id="27947" first="Veronica" last="Sheffey"] and 2022 5’11 SG Tatum Thompson. Glacier Peak scored a big win over Chiawana in the quarterfinals. 2021 5’8 SG [player_tooltip player_id="82932" first="Maya" last="Erling"] finished with 23 points, 2021 5’5 SG [player_tooltip player_id="48056" first="Malia" last="Smith"] had a big 18 points and 2021 5’5 PG [player_tooltip player_id="144520" first="Aaliyah" last="Collins"] chipped in with 14.

(3) Central Valley vs. (7) Union

Notes: Central Valley blew out Issaquah 72-55, imposing their will with speed and skill. Five players scored in double figures, led by 2021 5’10 G [player_tooltip player_id="144526" first="Chloe" last="Williams"]. Other players to watch include 2021 5’10 SF [player_tooltip player_id="85877" first="MJ" last="Bruno"], a Portland commit and 5’8 Seattle U signee [player_tooltip player_id="85915" first="Peyton" last="Howard"]. Union narrowly defeated Moses Lake behind 5’5 Western Washington signee, [player_tooltip player_id="85888" first="Mason" last="Oberg"]. Another player to watch is 5’10 SF Sarah Weatherspoon who finished with 15 points in the quarterfinal win.
