Here is our #11 - 20 in our PGHCalifornia Rankings:
#11: 2021, 5’9, SG, Corona Centennial HS, [player_tooltip player_id="49234" first="Trinity" last="San Antonio"] - Trinity is an x-factor for her team, she is agile and athletic as they come and she is a lock-down defender that always gets the assignment. She can get to the rim, she can shoot the midrange, but she has not been consistent with the three pointer as of lately. She is a capable three point shooter, but she spends so much time chasing the opponents best player in my opinion, so legs are gone on the long shot.
#12: 2021, 6’2, SF, Etiwanda HS, [player_tooltip player_id="49237" first="Promyce" last="Turner"] - Promyce is a beast in the paint for her team, you have a real problem when she and Peterson are in the game together. She dominates you from the high post in many ways, she can swing thru and finish and she can knock down the 8 to 10 footer around the perimeter. She is a rebounder supreme and a great finisher around the rim. Shot blocker gene and is defensively minded at all times.
#13: 2021, 5’8, SG, Mater Dei HS, [player_tooltip player_id="102661" first="Alyssa" last="Frescas"] - Alyssa is a shooting guard with a nice skill set to her game, she can knock down the shot from all three levels on the floor. She is aggressive on the defensive end of the floor and is a born leader on the floor for her team. She handles well, she attacks off the dribble, but her specialty is the pull up jumper. Alyssa moved up one spot to #13 from #14 in our last edition of ranking the 2021 class.
#14: 2021, 6’1, SG, Blair Academy, [player_tooltip player_id="49238" first="Helena" last="Friend"] - Helena has nice size for a guard, she plays the shooting guard, but we really would categorize her as a combo guard because the shot is not consistent. Do not get me wrong, she can score for her team, but she can get to rim and finish around the basket with her size. She is defensive minded shown by the 54 steals she had this season to go with her 149 rebounds.
#15: 2021, 6’0, SG, Redwood City HS, [player_tooltip player_id="102662" first="Kylie" last="Horstmeyer"] - Kylie is an all around player that is capable of doing it all on the floor, she can lead the break, she makes the right pass and her IQ is off the charts. She is a scorer from all three levels on the floor and you can tell she has been taught the game the right way. College ready body, college ready game and is still improving each and every time you see her play. She is a decent defender, would love to see improvements here, but it is not a problem and she is never going to hurt you on defense.
#16: 2021, 5’11, PG, Miramonte HS, [player_tooltip player_id="49242" first="Mia" last="Mastrov"] - Mia is special, she can score in many types of ways and is a threat to score at anytime when she is on the floor. She shoots the ball with consistency and can get you with an up fake then take you to the rim or pull up and knock down the midrange. Decent defender and a team leader in her own right.
#17: 2021, 6’0, SF, Lincoln HS, [player_tooltip player_id="102663" first="Analilia" last="Cabuena"] - Ana has a nice slender body type that makes her long and rangy on the court. She is a good high post threat with a nice rip thru and get to the basket, she has a solid midrange game and is a threat to score from 15 to 17 feet around the basket. She defends well and understands help side concepts and is a true leader to the floor, always talking.
#18: 2021, 6’1, SF, Santiago HS, [player_tooltip player_id="49243" first="Lauren" last="Grover"] - Lauren is a forward/post type of player with a nice floor game in the paint. She is able to knock down the 15 footer with great consistency and did a great job of recognizing when to flash to the high post against the zone. Great size and length that makes her a good shot blocker and able to change shots as well.
#19: 2021, 6’6, C, Troy HS, [player_tooltip player_id="49236" first="Endigo" last="Parker"] - Endigo is constantly improving on the offensive end of the floor, but being 6’6 is why she is so special. She is long and lanky, and has a long reach to block shots, she has soft hands and can run the floor like a gazelle to catch and finish. She throws out from the double team and can score over each shoulder and hit the midrange out to 17 feet. She is a great find for any coach. Endigo dropped five spot to #19 from #14 in our last edition of ranking the 2021 class.
#20: 2021, 5’7, PG, Bonita Vista HS, [player_tooltip player_id="102660" first="Sylena" last="Peterson"] - Sylena has a heralded player for a long time, she just transferred in to Bonita Vista this year and had to sit out do to transfer rules. She had about 7 to 8 offers and coaches were coming into the school to practices just to see her play. Her season was decent this year and did some good things for her team, we expected more from her, but she did not disappoint us. Sylena dropped 8 spots to #20 from #12 in our last edition of ranking the 2021 class.
