We continue to evaluate the players that are listed in the 2021 Class in California, remember these are opinions of our rankings committee and we only rank kids we have personally seen and meaning we saw them more than one time on the circuit or with their high schools during the season. We have writers up and down California and we try and cover most of the primary tournaments and events that we can. If we missed anyone, we will probably see them when play returns and we will update the rankings again before the high school season starts. Hope you like the evals and enjoy your time on our page.
#21: 2021, 6'0, SF, Los Osos HS, [player_tooltip player_id="49244" first="Sariah" last="Summerall"] - Sariah is a long guard that is able to play either as a small forward or a combo guard, which makes it hard to guard her. She plays hard on the floor and is a key piece for her team, mismatch is the word you use for her on the floor, she has the ability to create it with her size and skill set.
#22: 2021, 5’11, SG, LACES HS, [player_tooltip player_id="49246" first="Aliyah" last="Pollard"] - Aliyah is a capable big guard that is really good at creating mismatches on the perimeter and in the paint. She is one of the better players on the team in my book, with great size and a very good IQ for the game. We believe she will have a great high school season next year and really flourish as a player.
#23: 2021, 5’10, SG/CG, Valencia HS, [player_tooltip player_id="102664" first="Mailey" last="Ballard"] - Mailey is your DIA (do it all) player that has a great skill set and always ready to compete and get her team a win. She is skilled to score from all three levels on the floor, but her skill that has improved most this season is her three point shot, she is very consistent now on the shot. She is aggressive to the basket, she can finish thru contact and is a very good defensive player.
#24: 2021, 5’9, SG, Brentwood HS, [player_tooltip player_id="49247" first="Erica" last="Hall"] - Erica has some good size for a guard, she is long and lanky for this position and it allows her to score on smaller opponents. She is not the focus on the team and did not finish playing the season, played about 20 games and then was not able to finish the season for unknown reasons.
#25: 2021, 5’8, PG, JW North HS, [player_tooltip player_id="49248" first="Khylee" last="Smith"] - Khylee is another guard with good size and is a good team player for her team. She can score in multiple ways, but is really good going to the basket. Her midrange is good as well and she is able to get to the rim and finish thru contact.
#26: 2021, 5’8, PG, Marlborough HS, [player_tooltip player_id="49249" first="Bria" last="Balthazar"] - Bria plays well with her teammates and is a guard with some tangible skills that helps her team win. She is a willing defender that knows how to contain her opponents and uses her skill set to keep them in front at all times. Can get to the rim with much success and plays really hard on the floor.
#27: 2021, 6’1, PF, Mater Dei HS, [player_tooltip player_id="102665" first="Meaali’i" last="Amosa"] - Meaali’i is a bruiser and a great player on the floor in each and every game we have witnessed her play. She takes care of business in the paint and is one of the more skilled post players in the high school game in California. She is skilled all the way out to the freethrow line and able to create a mismatch on the floor, cause she is able to get to the rim with a few dribbles.
#28: 2021, 5’7, SG, Bonita Vista HS, [player_tooltip player_id="102666" first="Julia" last="Cosalan"] - Julia is a shooter and shotmaker supreme, she is able to knock the shot down from deep on the floor. She has added a few things to her game such as her floater and swing threw to get to the rim. She is a willing defender and can stay in front of her opponent and contain them. Quick feet and a leadership quality for her team, she is improving each and every game she plays.
#29: 2021, 5’5, PG, Central HS, [player_tooltip player_id="102667" first="Semie" last="Brar"] - Semie is a firecracker, shows so much confidence and focus on the floor. She is fiesty, she is quick and she is a savage on the floor. She runs the team like no one else and she is definitely the leader on the floor for her team at all times. She defends by getting under you and she can keep her opponent contained and under control. She can score and is a threat on the floor.
#30: 2021, 6’3, PF/C, Bishops San Diego HS, [player_tooltip player_id="102668" first="Jada" last="Davis"] - Jada can run the floor like a gazelle, she is crafty and skilled under the basket which allows her to create a mismatch at all times. She is skilled over the left and right shoulders and can use her length to exploit her defenders. She is capable of running you down and blocking your shot off the backboard, but she is great at changing opponents shots.
