2022 Stock Risers Bring It

I cover a lot of ground in Texas looking, observing and absorbing talented players in high school and caught several who just showed that they had elevated their games from the last time I evaluated them, this is why I’m doing this on a quarterly basis which equates to four times per year so my advice is to keep progressing and bring it every game because you never know who’s watching. #24 [player_tooltip player_id="96927" first="Kelliah" last="Walker"] (Keller Timber Creek) and #25 [player_tooltip player_id="135368" first="Desiree" last="Wooten"] (Mansfield Timberview) both moved up a notch but here are some of the others that made jumps [player_tooltip player_id="65915" first="Jazzy" last="Owens"] (Frisco Liberty) Current Rank #7 from #9 Owens not only played a huge role in her team winning the state championship (UIL 5A) but she was named MVP. Explosive scorer that just keeps coming at you, on both ends [player_tooltip player_id="135372" first="Christeen" last="Iwuala"] (San Antonio Reagan) Current Rank #8 from #30 Iwuala left me somewhat speechless at She’s Ballin Showcase and her growth since the last time I saw her, size and skillset, complimented her #BEAST mentality as she controlled the inside on both ends [player_tooltip player_id="65919" first="Kayla" last="Cooper"] (Plano East) Current Rank #10 from  #12 Cooper scores so many ways that she’s definitely a nightmare to defend and whether it’s attacking from every angle of her stop and pop going full speed, wow [player_tooltip player_id="96932" first="Maya" last="Linton"] (Timber Creek) Current Rank #13 from #15 Linton’s desire is just overwhelming at times, she scores with her back to the basket as well as facing it but her tenacity on the defensive end has gone up [player_tooltip player_id="135362" first="Sydney" last="Love"] (Steele) Current Rank #15 from #17 Love was solid at the Texas Invitational but her She’s Ballin performance definitely caught my attention as she understands how to set defenders up and elevates over them or blows by them [player_tooltip player_id="96930" first="Laila" last="McCleod"] (Duncanville) Current Rank #17 from #19 McCleod was solid all season and played a huge part in helping her team win a state championship (UIL 6A) and her ability to fill it up in the flow multiple ways is definitely solid [player_tooltip player_id="135365" first="Donovia" last="Hall"] (Plano East) Current Rank #19 from #22 Hall has always had the explosiveness and watching her at She’s Ballin going against other next-level talent told me a lot. The midrange is there, she creates easily and finishes strongly [player_tooltip player_id="135378" first="Lexi" last="Alexander"] (Cedar Ridge) Current Rank #30 from #35 Alexander went completely off at the Katy Classic and with her frame, she does so many things the next level loves. She rebounds, defends on the  inside and perimeter, solid finisher and can shoot the long ball
