Best Available 2020 Prospects

PHOTO CREDIT: Walter Cornett While the vast majority of our ranked 2020 players have committed to their college homes, there are still a handful of really good players available, including on of the top prospects in the state. Here’s a look at the best available Seniors still on the market. [player_tooltip player_id="31811" first="Malea" last="Williams"], Scott County - The 11th region player of the year has a mile long list of college offers from power 5 teams down to NAIA schools. Malea is far and away the best prospect left on the board and can be a difference maker for whichever college lands her services when she makes her commitment. [player_tooltip player_id="80504" first="Kiarah" last="Carney"], Ballard - Carney has been the recipient of several junior college offers lately and is likely to land at that level eventually. Her career at Ballard showed what an effective scorer she can be and her scoring abilities should translate well to the next level. [player_tooltip player_id="80508" first="Olivia" last="Federle"], Collins - One of the best scorers in the state in the Senior class, Olivia was the first player in school history to score over 2,500 career points and ends her time at Collins as the best player in school history. Federle has great size as a combo forward and can do a little bit of everything on the court. [player_tooltip player_id="80510" first="Dayja" last="Evans"], Pleasure Ridge Park - Another Louisville player who has been racking up offers from junior colleges in recent weeks, Evans is a volume scorer whose shooting numbers should improve at the next level as she plays with more talent around her. [player_tooltip player_id="80512" first="Lexy" last="Meyers"], Leslie County - Like Federle, Meyers has scored well over 2,000 career points and has a really impressive resume as she has had to do everything in her power for her team to win every time she hits the floor. Averaging 26 points per game is even more impressive when you realize how much the defense focuses on Meyers. [player_tooltip player_id="80513" first="Sydney" last="Clark"], Elizabethtown - A big time rebounder with an offensive game that's still a work in progress, Clark finished her season averaging 8 points and 10 rebounds per game but really improved after Xaviara Smalley went out of the lineup in January. [player_tooltip player_id="80536" first="Piper" last="Macke"], Highlands -The leading scorer for the Bluebirds this season, Macke has a host of college options, mostly of the high academic variety. After a good AAU career with the Kentucky Royals, look for Macke to make a college selection soon.
