Central Ohio Key Juniors- Part 1
Mireille Madison, 5’2 , Kipp Columbus
This student-athlete who carries a 4.2 GPA in the classroom, also greatly contributes on the court, averaging 15 ppg. Mireille is a PG and SG lefty, who has good court vision. Her quickness, both on the offensive and defensive end allow for easy layups. She’s a strong 3-point shooter at any location behind the arc, and is not afraid to take the ball to the basket.
Amya Harris Amya Harris 5'5" | CG Worthington Kilboourne | 2021 OH , 5’6, Worthington Kilbourne
Harris is impressive and fun to watch- she has lightening speed, and creates nightmares for anyone she guards. Averaged 10 ppg., 3 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals per game. She can do it all! Her quickness, solid ball handing skills, and overall court awareness greatly affects her teammates with easy buckets. Cutting hard to the basket comes easy for her, has a nice pull up mid-range jumper, and has proven throughout the season to be a threat behind the arc.
Ariyah Douglas Ariyah Douglas 5'8" | CG Marion Harding | 2021 State OH , 5’8, Marion Harding
This girl is electrifying to watch! If you’re looking for a playmaker, who can pass the basketball the length of the court with zing and precision, involve her teammates with easy looks, and can shoot anywhere on the floor, she’s all of that and more! Her stats as a junior speak for itself- 994 total points, 258 steals,17.2 ppg., 4.4 assists, 30% 3pt, 60% 2 pt and FT line. She’s just as exciting to watch defensively as she is offensively. Very strong moves to the basket, can weave around defenders. Douglas earned several awards this season including 1st Team MOAC, 1st Team District 11, 2nd Team All Central District, and Honorable Mention All Ohio.
Nicole Flock, 5’6, Marion Harding
Another strong, all-around player from Marion Harding, Nicole brings scoring, defense, and leadership to the team. This season, she averaged 11 ppg., 4.7 Reb., 2.3 Steals, while shooting 51% from the court, and 65% from the line. She’s a smart player who anticipates her opponents passes, and moves well- both with and without the ball. She’s nearly automatic buckets, when driving to the hoop. Can knock down 3’s as well. Awards earned this season include: 2nd MOAC, and 2nd Team Central District.
Briana is a long, athletic and talented player, who averaged 12.1 ppg. this season. She’s a smooth ballplayer, who shows composure, and knows how to finish strong around the basket. Great drop step moves on the block, knows how to use her body well by sealing her defenders. Nice mid-range jumper, who also rebounds well. This girl is only going to keep getting better and stronger!
