The 2021 rankings are updated <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/washington/rankings/2021-rankings/">here</a> and there are a bunch of guards (PG, CG, SG) that are recruitable prospects for the D1, D2, D3, NAIA and JUCO levels. The list below includes some of the top junior guards in the state that college coaches should be aware of and recruiting hard in some cases, if they are not already.

5'11 SG [player_tooltip player_id="20225" first="Talia" last="von Oelhoffen"] (Chiawana HS) - Down to Oklahoma, UCLA, Oregon State, Stanford and UConn. The elite recruit in Washington's 2021 class thanks to her uncanny scoring ability and basketball IQ at 5'11.
6'1 SG [player_tooltip player_id="20228" first="Haley" last="Huard"] (Eastlake HS) - A wiry off guard/wing that excels in catch and shoot situations. Great length on the defensive end! Idaho, Portland, Montana and others have been heavily involved in her recruitment along with some Pac 12 looks.
5'6 PG [player_tooltip player_id="20230" first="Ashlyn" last="Wallace"] (Clarkston HS) - Heady point guard that can drive and score or really fill it up from deep. Quick all over the floor and a tough left-handed guard. Committed to the Idaho Vandals.
5'5 CG [player_tooltip player_id="48013" first="Julianna" last="Walker"] (Annie Wright) - The state's leading scorer and another prolific outside shooter. Walker handles the ball strong against pressure and seems to always rise to the occasion. Another D1 prospect in the '21 class.
5'5 PG [player_tooltip player_id="82921" first="Esmeralda" last="Morales"] (Bethel HS) - Shifty and talented all around point guard that can create for others, but she is most lethal creating her own shot. Committed to Portland State.
5'8 SG [player_tooltip player_id="48020" first="Delaney" last="Pink"] (Chiawana HS) - A quick and aggressive off guard that can get hot fom behind the three line. Montana, Army and Cal Poly are among the schools involved with the junior guard.
5'7 PG [player_tooltip player_id="82937" first="Andie" last="Zylak"] (Lewis and Clark HS) - The top junior guard in the Greater Spokane League (GSL). Zylak can score from the outside or mid range and she is a solid defender. Has some mid major Division 1 interest. *Feature image
5'5 PG [player_tooltip player_id="144520" first="Aaliyah" last="Collins"] (Glacier Peak HS) - An ultra aggressive guard that does a lot of her damage on the defensive end. Best in the transition game where she can play off of instincts. Big Sky schools among those involved with her recruitment.
5'6 PG [player_tooltip player_id="82935" first="Hailey" last="Hiatt"] (Alrington HS) - A very skilled point guard that can shoot off the bounce with the best of them. One of my personal favorite players to watch in the state. low-mid major D1 recruit.
5'8 PG [player_tooltip player_id="82930" first="Emily" last="Mellema"] (Lynden Christian HS) - Skilled, high IQ point guard that can truly operate a team. A good leader on the floor and fits within the team concept well as a proven winner with the Lynden Christian program.
5'8 SG [player_tooltip player_id="48029" first="Jocylen" last="Wyatt"] (Wilson HS) - Naturally gifted guard that plays her best in the up and down game. Defends and attacks down hill on offense. An improving perimeter shot makes her a difficult guard.
5'8 SG [player_tooltip player_id="82932" first="Maya" last="Erling"] (Glacier Peak HS) - Good body control and a knack for turning nothing into something on the offensive end. Plays well off of her driving ability and short range pull-up. Has some Big Sky school's attention.
5'9 SG [player_tooltip player_id="82931" first="Jane" last="Cosmos"] (Overlake) - Sat out junior season with knee injury. Pre-injury: one of the fastest and best leaping guards in the state. A tough defender and scorer in transition. Has the IQ to also play the half court game. Patriot League schools among those involved.
5'6 CG [player_tooltip player_id="82957" first="Devynn" last="Warns"] (Liberty HS) - Gritty competitor that can score the ball well and battles on the boards. Sat out sophomore season with knee injury and bounced back to win League MVP in her junior year. Under the radar with colleges due to sitting out last Spring and Summer, but a prospect worth getting in contact with for some schools.
5'10 SG [player_tooltip player_id="48025" first="Charlee" last="Arthur"] (Newport HS) - Skilled and solid all around basketball player that spaces the floor and can execute half court offense. Had a good junior season for Newport.
5'6 SG [player_tooltip player_id="82938" first="Shaunice" last="Reed"] (Franklin HS) - A competitor that is not afraid to scrap and make things happen. Scores going down hill and has a knack for drawing fouls to get to the free throw line. A Metro All-League performer.
5'8 PG [player_tooltip player_id="144525" first="Izzy" last="Boring"] (Shadle Park HS) - Skilled, heady point guard that sees the floor well. Good leadership qualities and possesses a passion for the game. NAIA offers on the table with contact from multiple other levels.
5'9 SG [player_tooltip player_id="144526" first="Chloe" last="Williams"] (Central Valley HS) - A good shooter and slasher that got better as her junior season progressed. Comes from a championship program in Central Valley.
5'10 SG [player_tooltip player_id="48051" first="Sophie" last="Liesse"] (Lake Washington HS) - Wiry frame with the ability to do a little bit of everything on the court at 5'10. Performed well at the 3A state tourney, even knocking down the three ball.
5'6 PG [player_tooltip player_id="82940" first="Hayley" last="Flores"] (Auburn Mountainview HS) - The floor general. Has a really tight handle and shoots the ball well off the bounce or in catch and shoot situations.
5'8 SG [player_tooltip player_id="82946" first="Linsey" last="Lovrovich"] (Peninsula HS) - An athletic off guard that rebounds, defends and can score it from the guard position.
5'8 SG [player_tooltip player_id="82941" first="Claire" last="Gallagher"] (King's HS) - Shoots it really well from the outside. Also a capable secondary ball handler.
5'4 CG [player_tooltip player_id="48056" first="Malia" last="Smith"] (Glacier Peak HS) - Had multiple games this season where she got really hot from the three line. Good catch and shoot player off the ball and executes half court offense as the primary ball handler. Has some college interest from a variety of schools.
5'7 PG [player_tooltip player_id="82942" first="Piper" last="Bauer"] (Peninsula HS) - A quality shooter that can handle to create her own shot as well as drive and dish. Has been a high level performer for Peninsula for three years running.
5'10 SG [player_tooltip player_id="144527" first="Isabella" last="Reed"] (Inglemoor HS) - Strong off guard that can play the 2 or 3 at about 5'10. Hard worker that has steadily improved year by year.
5'6 CG [player_tooltip player_id="48055" first="Karina" last="McMillan"] (Sumner HS) - Had a breakout junior season swiping steals, scoring in transition and playing confident in the half court. Has started to pick up some smaller college interest.
5'4 PG [player_tooltip player_id="82971" first="Camryn" last="Gibson"] (Issquah HS) - A smaller, but really high IQ point guard and daughter of a coach. Good shooter from long range that can distribute well as a result of her willingness to make the right play and be a passer.
5'7 PG [player_tooltip player_id="82952" first="Rylee" last="Reese"] (Bellevue Christian HS) - Strong and sturdy with the ball in her hands. Competes on defense, drives to the hoop and finishes through contact.
