will be heading to Fresno State University to continue her basketball and academic career.
Fresno State is coming off of an outstanding 25-7 season, including a regular season Mountain West Conference Championship. Fresno State’s roster included the MVP of the conference, Freshman of the Year and another First Team All-League performer. Head Coach Jamie White also won MWC Coach of the Year honors. The Bulldogs have been on a hot streak with recruiting in the last couple years and feel they have a big time pickup with Stricklin.

is a versatile wing player that excels on the offensive side of the ball, but she is also a very good rebounder. The Seattle Prep standout is a skilled scorer, capable of scoring from all three levels, but she is unselfish on the offensive end. This past Spring and Summer was huge for her recruitment when she joined the Northwest Blazers travel program and offers started coming in quickly from multiple schools all over the country. She chose Fresno State over other schools in the Mountain West Conference, Ivy League, Big Sky and WAC.
Stricklin joins a strong lineup of Northwest Blazers that have moved on to play at Fresno State including Breanne Knishka (2015), Megan Nilsson (2016), this year’s League MVP Maddi Utti (2017) and current freshman Kendyll Kinzer (2019).
The 2021 class in Washington now has five Division 1 commitments with Stricklin joining
