We are all familiar with the names of their standout players that have now departed the program: Natalie Andersen, Dru Henning Dru Henning 5'10" | CG Mukwonago | 2020 State WI , Bre Cera, Angie Cera Angie Cera 5'9" | CG Mukwonago | 2020 State WI , Grace Beyer and Morgan Glatczak. I would like to take the opportunity to introduce you to the next generation of Mukwonago Indians. Who will step up to continue the proud tradition of this great program?
Mara McAdams, Guard (2021 Mukwonago)
Mara is a gifted athlete who will be looked to fill the scoring void left by Cera and Henning. She averaged 6.5 points per game last season with many of points coming off of the dribble. She uses this unique athleticism to drive aggressively and finish at the basket. I would describe her as a creative passer and a player that has quick feet defensively. As vocal leader and returning senior, I would look for her team to follow her effort and intensity on the court.
Taylor Rogosienski, Guard (2022 Mukwonago)
Taylor will be counted on to fill it up from behind the 3 point line this upcoming season. In more limited role this past season, she still was able to hit 13 threes. I feel that she will emerge as key contributor who will stretch the court for Mukwonago this upcoming season.
Bayla Strandlie, Point Guard (2022 Mukwonago)
Someone has to run the show on the court. That duty will be left to this talented junior. As this last season progressed, Bayla just continued to get better as her confidence grew. She is a stellar ball handler who will take care of the ball against pressure and set the table for the Indians. She will be able to use a quick first step to penetrate and dish to her teammates or to finish at the cup. She also has a solid three point shot so defenders have to play up on her. I see her making a big leap in her game in the coming season.
Anelise Macoux, Power Forward (2022 Mukwonago)
Anelise is definitely a young player to keep an eye this coming year. She brings a six foot frame to Mukwonago’s front court and also terrific length. This length will be key obstructing opponents progress toward the basket. She has the opportunity to see minutes as a key defensive player next season for the Indians.
Lili Hartel, Guard (2023 Mukwonago)
After being brought up to varsity at the end of last season, I would expect Lili to compete for a varsity spot this coming season. This kid is a hard worker who listens well and wants the ball in any situation. She has big time confidence. Lili has good outside shot with range extending beyond the three point line. I believe that she has what it takes to step up her game and make a major contribution next season.
Breely Bartnik, Forward (2023 Mukwonago)
Breely is another sophomore that I would expect to compete for minutes on the varsity level. She is tall and long. This kid is a high effort player who is aggressive both on the defensive and offensive side of the ball. She has the ability to penetrate and finish with a number of different moves.
Jenna Hammer, Center (2021 Mukwonago)
At 6’1″, Jenna gives Mukwonago true size in the middle of the lane. She is a shot blocker that will make opposing players change their shots on the way to the rim. She is also be looked at to grab rebounds for the Indians.
