I’m playing what I saw in my head, who just stepped up in as freshmen and made their presence felt almost immediately in the area and a few names stand out. [player_tooltip player_id="65932" first="Dalanna" last="Carter"] (Barbers Hill) [player_tooltip player_id="96125" first="RyLee" last="Grays"] (The Village) [player_tooltip player_id="134028" first="Gisella" last="Maul"] (Cedar Park) [player_tooltip player_id="65935" first="Kameryn" last="Phillips"] (Humble) [player_tooltip player_id="96127" first="D’Asia" last="Thomas"] (Waller) and the list goes on and on but let me break something down a little further on who could make a legitimate run. Grays school will have everyone back with the exception of [player_tooltip player_id="100117" first="Emily" last="Dogbatse"] and Maul’s squad lost a lot but they have another talented freshman moving up to varsity in [player_tooltip player_id="96143" first="Molly" last="Ly"] so they could make another run
Cypress Ranch
[player_tooltip player_id="134035" first="Chelsey" last="Singleton"] did enough last summer in one game to be added, I also like Tracey Matundu and her explosiveness but other key 2023 players are Xavier Hill and Kamryn Harvey
Tompkins
Are you kidding me, two players on The Watchlist that "set it off" [player_tooltip player_id="134029" first="Loghan" last="Johnson"] and [player_tooltip player_id="158696" first="Flyin" last="Adelye"] will be back and better
North Shore
[player_tooltip player_id="134039" first="Aariana" last="Masters"] will be back and ready after a knee injury, she and [player_tooltip player_id="134061" first="Shalayne" last="Gould"] will definitely give their talented team a big boost
Dawson
[player_tooltip player_id="134031" first="Jalayah" last="Ingram"] magically made things happen with ease and I was definitely impressed with Kennedy Ford and here upside
Langham Creek
[player_tooltip player_id="96161" first="Aniyah" last="Sanford"] stepped up to the plate and did an outstanding job as the sixth man, next year, the ball is her hand and she has some players to get it to
Memorial
[player_tooltip player_id="134041" first="Riley" last="McCloskey"] and Abigail Tomaski slid into the starting spots and you never would’ve known they were freshmen and with one of the top 2024 players coming next year, uh oh
Dobie
[player_tooltip player_id="134034" first="Janae" last="Tucker"] already has one of the top 2022 players to get it done on the court but with the top 2024 coming in, I will definitely be camping out
College Station
[player_tooltip player_id="158700" first="Jaeden" last="McMillin"] sent a message and whether it was by text, subliminal or Western Union, many got it but just in case you didn’t, the defending R3 champ in 5A has enough to return
