Below is a list of top players who compete in the north Wisconsin region. All five of these impact players are juniors who have had big careers so far and impact the game with their scoring ability.
Mimi Beaulieu | Menominee Indian | 5’3 G
The junior has had a huge impactful career so far at Menominee Indian. She runs the offense for her squad, and does a great job at setting the tempo. She knows how to get herself open and create space for herself before attacking at the hoop. Beaulieu averaged 22.6 points per game for her team. A crazy efficient three point shooter, Beaulieu is a sniper from beyond the arc. The junior standout made 86 three point baskets this year. In a game against Gresham Community, Beaulieu scored a season-high 35 points.
Chloe Sipsas | South Shore | 5’10 G
A lanky guard who has a great scorers mentality. She finds many ways to score the basketball and is super impressive on the block. The 5’10 guard can play multiple positions on the floor and will many times be seen pushing the ball in transition. Sipsas averaged 21.6 points per game for South Shore. The dynamic athlete with ability to take over the game any given night. Sipsas scored a season-high 33 points against Lake Holcombe.
Makenna Guden | Edgar | 5’7 PG
The point guard is a great leader for her team. She pushes the ball in transition and does an impressive job distributing the ball. She has a great combination of quickness and athleticism that is fun to watch. She knows when to score the basket for her team and when to attack against contact. The Edgar standout averaged 20.2 points per game. An overall impact player, Guden has a smooth release on the perimeter. She made 63 three point baskets during her junior campaign. In a game against Auburndale, Guden scored a season-high 34 points.
Emma Herb | Wittenberg- Birnamwood | 5’8 F
An undersized forward who does a great job fighting for position in the paint. An excellent defender with great footwork on the boards, Herb averaged 8.5 rebounds per game. She’s a hustler on the court and gives 100% on both ends. An inside scoring threat, Herb does an impressive job creating space with her back to the basket. She averaged 18 points per game this season. In a game against Iola- Scandinavia, Herb scored a season-high 30 points. In another team win over Weyauwega- Fremont, Herb scored 28 points for her team.
Karissa Schaal | Gillett | 5’7 G
Schaal was an impact player for her team this season. She’s a triple threat for Gillett, leading her team in scoring and steals. Schaal also proved she’s an impressive rebounder and has strength against taller defenders. Schaal averaged nearly 7 rebounds per game for her team. On offense, Schaal pushes the tempo. She’s fast in transition and is crafty finishing in the lane. She averaged 17.8 points per game for Gillett. Schaal is composed on offense and very patient finding her shot beyond the arc. She gained more confidence on the three point line this season, making 26 baskets overall. In a big win against Coleman, Schaal scored a season-high 33 points.
