Even as time stands still while we’re all in quarantine, in essence it still flies by. As I’m watching endless amounts of film, texting coaches, and going through my notes, I looked at some of the junior class and was struck. They are going to be SENIORS next year! It seems like these athletes just showed up as wide eyed freshman that were looking to make an impact. Now.....they’re veterans and leaders.

I can’t believe the way she has developed her game in a short time. I saw her about a year and a half ago and had the opportunity to sit and talk with her in the stands after the game. Hardy was talented at that time, but her game was raw. It’s not raw anymore.....it’s dominant.

Kelley, from day 1, has been the kind of player that I just want to see succeed. She plays with a chip on her shoulder and uses it to improve and compete at a high level. Kelley is a talented shooter and scorer that we get to watch for 1 more year. Make sure you see her play, because she has next level potential.

In a way I feel like I cheated myself. Lewis wasn’t really on my radar until early last spring. I feel like I missed out on time watching her game develop. Her 1-on-1 defense and consistent shooting are fun to watch.

It seems like just yesterday that I was first introduced to this young guards talent. She came in as a shooter with good mechanics, and has developed into a terrific all around perimeter player.

It seems like Marvin has been getting buckets for years. In fact, it wouldn’t seem like Michigan high school basketball without seeing her name among the leading scorers. Scouts and coaches need to make sure they enjoy her coming senior season.
