2022 Rankings – Top 5 SG in the Class

<span style="font-size: 14pt;">We will take some time to identify our <strong>Top 5 Shooting guards in the 2022 Rankings</strong> we just released earlier last week, which will give coaches a starting point in their recruiting campaigns.  We will help you to find kids that fit your programs and can help your institution thrive and possibly win, which is essential to build programs at the college level.  </span> &nbsp; <span style="font-size: 14pt;">#3: <strong>2022, 6’0, SG, Bishop O’Dowd HS, [player_tooltip player_id="49273" first="Amaya" last="Bonner"]</strong> -  Amaya is an athletic scoring guard with a very nice body type for college at this time, she can stand to thicken up, but she uses her body to her advantage.  She can get to the rim with a burst of speed past her defender or pull up and shoot the midrange or floater in the paint.  She is aggressive to the rim and is a threat to score on the floor at any time.  She is one of the better guards in the area when it comes to the Bay area.  </span> &nbsp; <span style="font-size: 14pt;">#5:<strong> 2022, 5’10, SG, Camarillo HS, [player_tooltip player_id="103359" first="Gabriela" last="Jaquez"]</strong> -  Gabreila is a stud for her age as well, she is sought after by many coaches around the country in my opinon.  She is another aggressive scoring guard that has a knack for scoring in the paint, shooting the midrange and three pointers from deep.  She is a decent defender on the floor, she keeps her lady in front with good footwork, is able to defend on and off the ball in help.  She is great size and is one of the most athletic guards in her area and was primed to have another break out summer before the Pandemic hit us.</span> &nbsp; <span style="font-size: 14pt;">#8: <strong>2022, 5’10, SG, Oakridge HS, [player_tooltip player_id="163136" first="Teagan" last="Brown"]</strong> -  Teagan was a DIA (Do it All) player n the floor when we saw her play the game for the first time.  She could score with the best of them, she could get to the rim thru contact, she could pull up in the paint for a nice midrange shot as well as a threat from behind the arc.  She was a decent defender and was definitely a leader out on the floor for her team, the OFFERS and other publications would agree that Teagan is a special one in our book.</span> &nbsp; <span style="font-size: 14pt;">#12: <strong>2022, 5’10, SG, Cathedral Catholic HS, [player_tooltip player_id="103360" first="Taryn" last="Johnson"]</strong> - Taryn is a beast, she is the most athletic of this group of scoring guards, her body type is that of a track runner, she is solid and strong as they come.  She imposses her will on players by utilizing her speed and strength going to the rim, once she puts you on her hip, it is done for you.  She can finish thru contact, she can post smaller guards and forwards up in the paint and she has developed her three ball.  Taryn is special in regards to being the most college-ready of all of the scoring guards in this article.</span> &nbsp; <span style="font-size: 14pt;">#14: <strong>2022, 5’10, SG, Troy HS, [player_tooltip player_id="103347" first="Hannah" last="Stines"]</strong> - Hannah is smooth, she can get to the rim off the dribble or step back and make a long three pointer on you.  She is a decent defender and can keep her lady in front of her but she is privileged by playing with the best shot blocker in Orange County, so she can gamble a little bit more than most on defense cause most of the time it will be blocked at the rim.  She is a threat to score at all times on the floor and she is aggressive as a scoring guard as they come.  Her body type will have to improve for the next level, but she will be a scorer on the next level for whatever school she chooses.</span>
