Pee Dee Signings

Prep Hoops takes a look at some Pee Dee Signings here this spring outside of <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="124043" first="Loyal" last="McQueen"]</strong> headed to Georgia Tech University. [caption id="attachment_174598" align="alignnone" width="300"] Tameisha Lasane[/caption] <strong>Tameisha Lasane</strong> - Mullins HS and <strong>Keyla Britt</strong> - Marion HS both have signed to play Central Carolina Community College. Lasane averaged averaged 13.6 ppg and 10.4 rebounds this past season for the Lady Auctioneers. [caption id="attachment_150397" align="alignnone" width="300"] Keyla Britt[/caption] Britt a 5’4 point guard played just 7 miles down the road at county rival Marion HS. Britt helped the Lady Swamp Foxes to a (29-2) and a runner-up finish to Keenan HS in the Class 3A State Championship Game. Britt averaged 7.9 ppg and 3.3 assists this season. Britt finished her career with 829 points. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="124060" first="Jykya" last="Bell"]</strong> will attend North Greenville University next season. Bell averaged 16.8 ppg, 3.3 assists and 2.8 rebounds this season while playing at Dillon HS. Bell scored 1,140 career points for the Lady Wildcats. Dillon HS finished the season at (17-4). [caption id="attachment_174596" align="alignnone" width="300"] Chyna Pouncey[/caption] <strong>Chyna Pouncey</strong> a teammate of Bell at Dillon HS will head off to college this fall. Pouncey will play at Brevard College in North Carolina next season. Pouncey averaged 11.4 ppg this season for the Lady Wildcats. Pouncey finished her 4 year career with 593 points. Pouncey and Bell had a combined (72-12) over 4 seasons at Dillon HS. [caption id="attachment_174608" align="alignnone" width="300"] Brittany Williams[/caption] <strong>Brittany Williams</strong> played this past season at Florence Christian. Williams will take her talents to Bob Jones University next fall in Greenville, SC. Williams started her career off at Wilson HS. Williams 5’9 averaged 7.9 ppg and 7.7 rebounds this season for the Lady Eagles. Florence Christian finished the season at (20-2) after losing in the SCISA Class 3A State Semifinals. [caption id="attachment_174597" align="alignnone" width="300"] Lauren Thomas[/caption] <strong>Lauren Thomas</strong> and <strong>Jazolyn Pendergrass </strong>will remain teammates next season at Spartanburg Methodist College. Thomas a post player for the Lady Red Foxes averaged 8.4 ppg and 13.4 rebounds this season. [caption id="attachment_174601" align="alignnone" width="300"] Jazolyn Pendergrass[/caption] Pendergrass a shooting guard connected on 33% (79-242) three pointers this past season. Pendergrass averaged 16.5 ppg, 3.1 rebounds and 2.4 steals this season. [caption id="attachment_174599" align="alignnone" width="300"] Tarewyn Dawson[/caption] <strong>Tarewyn Dawson</strong> a former player at Hartsville HS will join Thomas and Pendergrass at Spartanburg Methodist College next season. Dawson played this season at Legion Collegiate Academy in Rock Hill. Dawson a guard played just her senior season at Legion Collegiate Academy.
