The rankings were chosen between Oshkosh North and Oshkosh West of the FVA Conference and Oshkosh Lourdes of the Trailways- East Conference.
1. Kiersten McNulty Kiersten McNulty 6'3" | PF Oshkosh West | 2021 State WI | Oshkosh West | 6’2 F | Junior
McNulty really developed into a strong post player this season. She knows how to use her body on both ends of the floor. A quick scorer on offense, McNulty gets buckets in a variety of ways. She finished the season averaging 11.3 points per game. She improved her outside shooting stroke this season, making 18 three point baskets. Oshkosh West relies on McNulty for ability to grab boards as well. She finished with nearly 7 boards per game. The 6’2 forward is committed to Youngstown State.
2. Hope Burns | Lourdes Academy | 5’6 G | Junior
The junior currently leads her team in scoring. A scrappy guard that uses multiple moves to get to the basket, Burns can really score the ball. She does a great job of attacking with her eyes at the basket, remaining a threat at all times. This season she averaged 13.1 points per game. A sniper from beyond the arc as well, Burns finished the season with 56 made three’s.
3. Paige Droessler | Lourdes Academy | 5’10 F | Junior
An athletic post player who has a great inside out game. She has the skills to handle the ball on the perimeter and the dominance to demand pressure in the lane. She plays really well with her back to the basket. She averaged 7.4 points per game this season. A serious rebounder as well, Droessler averaged nearly 7 boards per game. She will continue to improve her shot blocking ability as she finished with 19 total blocks.
4. Abby Hafemeister | Lourdes Academy | 5’10 F | Freshman
This player is going to be a super fun prospect to watch evolve. She has a super high ceiling and seems to add something new every time I’ve watched her compete. Considered a forward for her team, Hafemeister could easily be a guard. She’s super confident knocking down the shot beyond the arc. She has handles on the perimeter and is comfortable pushing the ball in transition. A great passer as well, Hafemeister finished with 62 assists. She averaged 6.6 points per game this season and will be an impact player the next three years.
5. Bailey Boelter | Oshkosh North | 5’6 G | Junior
The junior guard will play a huge role next season as she will now be the leading scorer for her team. She’s a scrappy guard who capitalizes at the rim from her steals. A primarily inside scoring threat, Boelter does a great job getting to the basket. She thrives on her defensive pressure and does a great job altering opponents’ shots. She pushes the tempo on offense and gets her teammates involved. This season she averaged 6.2 points per game.
6. Molly Moore | Lourdes Academy | 5’6 PG | Freshman
Another freshman on the list who has such a high ceiling for her team. She’s already shown glimpses of the way she will run the offense in the next few years. She’s confident with the ball in her hands and shows patience setting up the flow of the game. She’s a quick guard with ability to find her open teammates or knock down a three point basket. This season she finished with 5.5 points per game and 23 made perimeter baskets.
7. Ashley Borrowitz | Oshkosh North | 5’6 G | Sophomore
Borrowitz is certainly a player with a high ceiling as well. She will most likely be one of the go-to players for both defensive and offensive impact next season. She’s a super composed guard and doesn’t force anything at the rim. She loves her perimeter shot and is comfortable creating it on her own. Borrowitz averaged 5.4 points per game for Oshkosh North. In a game against Kimberly she scored 14 points.
8. Mary Oman | Oshkosh West | 5’11 F | Junior
A strong post player for West as well, Oman can definitely put up big numbers if given the right amount of minutes. This season she was more of a role player behind Rochon-Baker and McNulty but I’d look for her to make a bigger impact during her senior season. She averaged nearly 4 points per game and 4 rebounds per game. Oman is confident beyond the rim as well. In a game against Appleton West, Oman scored a season-high 11 points.
9. Meghan Gruse | Oshkosh North | 5’4 G | Junior
Another scrappy guard who thrives off up and down play. She’s super skilled offensively and is confident with the ball in her hands. Gruse averaged 6.1 points per game for Oshkosh North. She’s a great passer to her teammates, often using her good ball handling skills to create space before making a good pass. She finished with 46 assists this season.
10. Brianna Davis | Oshkosh West | 5’10 F | Junior
A key role player for Oshkosh West who could easily transform into an impact forward for her team next season. She can play inside and out, and is comfortable in a 5 out offense. She has a smooth stroke to her game and does a good job finding her pockets on offense. In a game against Fond Du Lac, Davis scored 9 points.
