Clare Scheier, C, 2021, St. Michael the Archangel (Lee’s Summit)
Grabbed one of the most impressive rebound totals for all Missouri juniors with a 289 total in 28 games of action. Scheier grabbed 150 defensive rebounds and 139 offensive rebounds. A player that does a nice job of getting into the right places on the court and a great block out player down low also.
Ashlyn Vermeer, 5-10, PF, 2021, Kansas City East Christian Academy
Among the most impressive players on the boards and a player that was among the top in the state for rebounding, Vermeer really was a big time low post presence for East Christian Academy. Ashlyn’s numbers on the 2919-20 season were a quite impressive 430 total boards and 15.9 per contest in her 27 games of action. 261 of those pull downs were defensive.
Ryenne Gepford,5-8, C/F, 2021, Butler
Butler’s High School’s Ryenne Gepford was a good looking player all season and without a doubt was among the best of the best for Missouri class of 2021 board crashers. Gepford pulled down a very solid 303 on the season for an 11.7 rpg. average and was one of the most dominant low post players in Western Missouri. A player that we expect some huge things from as a senior and a most know player in the 21 class.
Heidi Bosch, 2021, Providence Classical Christian Academy (St. Louis)
Bosch, a player that dominated the board for Providence Classical Christian Academy in St. Louis, pulled down double digit numbers at 10.3 rpg. and was a player that had 136 offensive boards and 133 defensive rebounds.
Samantha Rounkles, 5-8, F, 2021, Tina-Avalon
Rounkles was among those that really impressed for Tina-Avalon this season and a player that can make some great things happen in the low post. Pulled down 10 redounds per game in 23 games and was a big time part of her teams low post game on the 2019-20 campaign.
