Class of 2021 Rankings: Point Guards

As we continue building off of our rankings updates last month. We now go in-depth with our coverage with each class by position. First up is the point guards in the 2021 class. This class has so really solid talent at the lead guard spot. Leading the way is North Kansas City’s [player_tooltip player_id="106867" first="Ja’Mya" last="Powell-Smith"], who is our #1 ranked player in the state. Not far behind is [player_tooltip player_id="106866" first="Reagan" last="Rapert"] of Union and Arkansas State commit as well as the explosive Aliyah Willams of Parkway North. <hr /> <ul> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106867" first="Ja’Mya" last="Powell-Smith"] Ι 5’5" Ι PG Ι NKC </strong></li> </ul> An elite-level scorer both off the dribble and shooting from the three-point line. Can get anywhere on the court with her handles, excels in the open floor, and a tough on-ball defender. <ul> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106864" first="Jaelyn" last="Glenn"] Ι 6’0" Ι PG Ι Barstow</strong></li> </ul> Long and athletic floor general with excellent handles. She has solid range on her jump shot from three and runs the show for her team. High basketball IQ and a competitor on both ends. <ul> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106866" first="Reagan" last="Rapert"] Ι 5’6" Ι PG Ι Union</strong></li> </ul> A speedy left-handed point guard with elite vision. A smooth jump shot from three. Solid defender and finishes at the rim. <ul> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="161988" first="Aliyah" last="Williams"] Ι 5’4" Ι PG Ι Parkway North</strong></li> </ul> A dynamic point guard that shoots it at an elite level. Scores it well at all three levels and runs the show for her team. Solid defender with a great basketball IQ. <ul> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="168020" first="Gracee" last="Smith"] Ι 5’7" Ι PG Ι Arcadia Valley</strong></li> </ul> A solid shooter from three with a good feel for the game. Capable handles attacking the basket. High basketball IQ. <ul> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106891" first="Faith" last="Gilkey"] Ι 5’5" Ι PG Ι Walnut Grove</strong></li> </ul> A dynamic point guard that can flat out defend. Shoots that ball at a high level and is a relentless rebounder. excellent handles to get to any spot on the floor. Great court vision and awareness. Super fast and has quick hands. <ul> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106887" first="Lauren" last="Brandt"] Ι 5’7" Ι PG Ι Fatima</strong></li> </ul> High IQ floor leader that makes shots. Plays well off the ball and can get to the basket. A solid defender and plays hard. <ul> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106917" first="Kaydi" last="Alderman"] Ι 5’4" Ι PG Ι Eugene</strong></li> </ul> A solid point guard that excels on the defensive end. A good shooting touch out to the three-point line; quick release. Good handles and a good ability to run her team. <ul> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106893" first="Brooke" last="Sinclair"] Ι 5’9" Ι PG Ι Dixon</strong></li> </ul> Big guard with good speed and excellent ball control. Good court vision and finishes through contact. A solid shooter from three and has great ball-handling skills. <ul> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106901" first="Gracie" last="Stugart"] Ι 5’6" Ι PG Ι Francis Howell Central</strong></li> </ul> A crafty point guard that can flat out score the ball. She is very creative off the dribble and has a fast first step to the basket. An elite shooter from three with excellent court vision and awareness. <ul> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106908" first="Kendrick" last="Bailey"] Ι 5’5" Ι PG Ι Hollister</strong></li> </ul> A deadeye sharpshooter that shoots it at a high level with deep range. Good basketball IQ and plays well in pick and roll. <ul> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106911" first="Makenna" last="DeClue"] Ι 5’1" Ι PG Ι Troy</strong></li> </ul> A heady point guard with outstanding speed and quickness. Sees the floor well and makes plays for her teammates. She is a shot maker with great range out to the three-point line. <ul> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106912" first="Lexi" last="Berry"] Ι 5’6" Ι PG Ι Bolivar</strong></li> </ul> An excellent shooter with a quick release from three. She has solid handles and can play off the ball. An excellent defender that can turn turnovers into fast breaks. <ul> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="107942" first="Bailey" last="Rissmiller"] Ι 5’6" Ι PG Ι Blair Oaks</strong></li> </ul> A solid guard with good overall skills. She doesn’t make many mistakes and is a really good shooter from three.
