Some of the best basketball in the state comes out of Prep schools. The Class of 2022 has some of the top talent. Here are names to watch moving forward. [player_tooltip player_id="134635" first="Tabitha" last="Amanze"] | Blair Blair is one of the top programs in New Jersey. They breed Division I talent and Amanze is next on the list. She scored 334 total points for an average of 12 per game. Amanze dominated in the lane. She is a quick player that knows how to gain an edge on her defender. She is learning from some of the top players in New Jersey which means she will be ready to be a No. 1 option as a senior. Nicole Villalta-Barrantes | Notre Dame Barrantes finished her sophomore year as the second leading scorer for Notre Dame. She also led the team in three-point shooting. Barrantes was active on the perimeter from the beginning of the season. Notre Dame knew how to get the ball in her hands and she was always ready to catch and shoot. With [player_tooltip player_id="134593" first="Erika" last="Porter"] moving on, Barrantes will have to pick up some of the slack left behind. Mary Kathryn Kramli | Pennington Kramli burst onto the scene as a complete scorer for Pennington. She averaged 14 points and did it at all three levels. Kramli showed off a smooth jump shot knocking down 47 three’s. She also had a knack of drawing contact and finishing near the rim. She was able to get some easy points at the free throw line thanks to her ability. Kiera Hahn | Hun Hun is primed to a big year in 2020-2021 thanks to their returning players. They are heavy in the Class of 2021 and Hahn keeps the future bright. She did not have an extended role this season but she showed signs of becoming an impact performer in the future. As a junior, her role will become bigger and that will be a positive for her and the team. Caitlyn Schwartz | Pingry Schwartz stepped up for Pingry this season. She knocked down 43 three’s which was near the top of the league. Schwartz is an elite shooter that can score inside as well. On the defensive end, Schwartz is quick on the perimeter and can rebound well from the guard position.
