Flyin Adelye Flyin Adelye 6'0" | PF Tompkins | 2020 TX (Tomkins)
I already know what Adelye can do, I saw that when she played for Katy Rebels in the 6th or 7th grade and you can’t teach power and she uses that well on both ends of the court and that means scoring and rebounding, which she always does on both ends
Jada Brown (Bentonville)
Brown is from Arkansas which explained how I missed her but defenders are missing her on the court because of an explosive first step. She’s athletic and understands how to get to the rim and once she’s there, she does a good job finishing
Kayla Cooper Kayla Cooper 5'9" | SG Plano East | 2022 State TX (Plano East)
Cooper is a “nightmare to defend” and her athleticism plays a huge part as she has range, mid to long, she also can attack the basket from various angles and watching her in the open court keeps you wondering what she’ll do because she has a bundle to choose from
Jacei Denley Jacei Denley 5'6" | SG Beaumont Westbrook | 2023 State TX (Westbrook)
Denley can flat out shoot it, mid to long, with ease but she always could so that was no surprise. Her range has extended. she creates her shot under pressure and her shot selection is solid but what really got me was how she’s improved on her ’catch and shoot”
Megan Donnelly (Magnolia)
Donnelly is one of those players I hadn’t seen in a while and she’s grown, in fact, I just realized who she was after looking at the roster but nevertheless, she can score and she sizes up defenders nicely to create her shot and that pull-up is smooth
Shelby Hayes Shelby Hayes 6'1" | PF Cedar Park | 2022 State TX (Cedar Park)
Hayes has that throwback stuff I enjoy seeing yet has seemed to be lost in time and her drop step is among the best in the state that I’ve seen. She finishes strong and rebounds the same way and when you add “good hands and footwork” combined with size, oh yeah, she can score facing the basket
Amarachi Kimpson Amarachi Kimpson 5'7" | PG Little Elm | 2023 State TX (Little Elm)
Kimpson is arguably one of the best “clutch” players in the state, she wants the ball under pressure and she delivers with more regularity than my postal carrier but she has range galore, handles the ball under pressure and can see the floor and threads the needle nicely
Nyanna Robertson Nyanna Robertson 5'7" | PG Boswell | 2022 State TX (Boswell)
Robertson has so many stars and stripes by her name she could have her own flag, I have my own decoding method, but speaking of flags, it’s waving green because she can GO. She has very good range and picks the defense apart with her multitude of moves to get open
Alyssa Tarpley Alyssa Tarpley 5'11" | CG Gunter | 2022 State TX (Allen)
Tarpley just keeps impressing me with her midrange game and that in itself will get you multiple offers but when you add that shew understands how to create her shot, in traffic and she doesn’t force anything but even more impressive is that she can go off in the flow
Kendall Sneed Kendall Sneed 5'7" | CG Hardin Jefferson | 2024 State TX (Henderson MS)
Sneed will team up with Ashlon Jackson Ashlon Jackson 5'10" | SG Hardin Jefferson | 2022 State #22 Nation TX at Hardin Jefferson next season and to say she will make an impact off the top is an understatement. She’s smart and plays within her self, her upside is unlimited and watching her play UP at this level and handling her business says a lot because one more time “it’s not what you do, it’s who you do it against” and she scored, handles the ball under pressure and defended players heading to college
