South Dakota 2024’s Watch List
PGH would like to introduce the South Dakota class of 2024. There’s some high-end talent and already polished prospects on this list. They have room to grow and to take it to the next level in the next few years. It should be fun to follow this group to see what transpires. We’ll first start with a group of five prospects that are more than worth your time and attention. Let’s get to know the prospects.
Claire Sheppard | Flandreau | 5’11 | G-F | A very intriguing prospect with a super high ceiling with her length and skill-set. The sky is the limit for this prospect. A well-rounded player that will only be getting better. We’ll be talking about her for the years to come.
Emilee Fox | Mt. Vernon/Plankinton | 5’8 | Guard| Mt. Vernon/Plankinton’s go-to player this past season as an eighth-grader. Already a polished and skilled prospect. Emilee possesses all of the ball-handling moves and can score in any way you can think of. Class A All-State 2nd team this past season averaging 18.1 ppg., 4.9 rpg., and 4.1 apg.
Ava Nillson | Warner | 5’9 | PG-Guard | A starter and Warner’s best player. A skilled player that glides on the court. Could stand to be more aggressive and take things into her own hands more often. All-Lake Region Conference 1st team as an eighth-grader.
Macy Koupal | Wagner | 5’7 | Guard | A guard with above average overall size. Sixth-man for Wagner but was deserving of a start. A really solid overall game and plays within the game. Can take it inside and score and also possesses a very accurate and consistent three-point shot.
Courtney Sees | Avon | 5’5 | PG-Guard | Slightly on the smaller side of the spectrum but a very quick-footed player to make up for her lack of size. Has a suddenness about her…A swarming defender that gets in your face…A great ball-handler with both hands, that is quick with it to create separation…A lightning quick first-step with the ball in her hands…
