Below is a list of players competing for Playmakers Adidas 17U squad. A group of talented players who work well with each other to win ball games. With multiple facilitators this team’s passing should be incredibly sound. The squad also has four prospects listed above 6 foot so I’d also look for them to pack it inside to their bigs. Below is a breakdown of four key players to keep an eye on.

Players to Watch:
[player_tooltip player_id="132360" first="Olivia" last="Gamoke"] | 5’7 G | Onalaska HS
Competing in a tough Mississippi Valley conference, Gamoke led her team to a 8-4 conference record. While being the only junior to earn First Team All Conference, Gamoke led her team in scoring. She averaged 10.9 points per game during her junior season. A scrappy guard who impacts the game with her speed and agility. She’s all over the floor. She has tremendous court vision for her teammates. On defense, she is resilient and an in your face defender. She averaged 2.9 steals per game for her HS. She currently holds over five Division 2 offers.
Ziy Conner | 6’0 C | Independence HS
The strong presence inside the lane this season will be Conner. At 6’0 Conner’s ability to handle defense pressure and score above defenders is incredible. She’s a solid scorer and consistently puts up big numbers. She’s a rebounding specialist who uses her body efficiently in the lane. She can get up and down the floor well and communicates with her guards. Look for Conner to put up big numbers and add to her mid-range game. Last season for Independence she averaged 19 points per game and 17 rebounds per game.
Molly Garrity | 5’7 CG | Onalaska HS
A player that I hope to become more of a key player and asset to her team this summer is Garrity. She has great skill and a high ceiling for scoring the basketball. She’s a strong guard who can also defend in the paint. More of a role player for her Onalaska squad last season, Garrity didn’t shy away from getting her team a bucket when necessary. She’s patient and has a good rhythm to her game. She’s a sniper from beyond the arc and will be one of the go-to perimeter scorers this summer.
[player_tooltip player_id="132364" first="Breanna" last="Ackley"] | 6’3 PF | Stratford HS
Ackley has surprisingly great mobility. She is able to get up and down the court pretty efficiently, a trait many 6’3 PFS may lack. Her drop-step/spin combo is incredibly quick for her size and it often catches defenders off guard. She averaged 16.1 points per game and 7.7 rebounds for her high school squad last season. Ackley holds a Division II offer from University of Mary.
