McClain Mahone McClain Mahone 5'5" | CG Madison Memorial | 2022 State WI | 5’5 G | Milwaukee Riverside
Scruggs is fantastic at splitting the defender. She uses her crafty dribble hesitation moves or a smooth euro-step. She has great body control and momentum when attacking the basket as well- rarely shying away from contact in the lane. She does well finishing with either hand at the basket. Her distribution skills in the lane stand out very much; the ball whips out of her hands towards her open teammates.
Aaliyah Smith Aaliyah Smith 5'5" | PG La Follette | 2022 State #19 Nation WI | 5’6 G | Madison La Follette | WI Flight Elite
The number one player in the state and nationally ranked guard has clearly shown that height is just a number when she is on the floor. She is incredibly shifty with a deep bag of dribble moves. She has a strong build frame and low center of gravity that makes her very hard to push off the ball. She’s quick off the bounce, exploding past the first defender and into the lane.
Kiarra Moe Kiarra Moe PG Brodhead | 2022 State WI | 5’3 G | Brodhead
A high energy guard with a very impressive motor. Moe is advanced with her pull up jumper and range consistency. She plays steady and relaxed on the floor, not forcing a pass or shot if not open. She’s a floor general with great on-court vision. A defensive specialist as well, Moe’s nose for steals is very impressive.
Sarah Newcomer Sarah Newcomer 5'8" | CG Pewaukee | 2022 State WI | 5’6 G | Wisconsin Rapids
Clary is a player that continues to improve and find ways to impact the game. With a very low turnover count, Clary brings a high basketball IQ to the game. She isn’t afraid of any matchup and takes her on ball pressure very seriously. A skilled passer as well, Clary finds her open teammates almost effortlessly.
Avery Poole Avery Poole 5'7" | PG Monona Grove | 2022 State WI | 5’6 G | Monona Grove | Let It Rain
Poole has such a high ceiling for her size and continues to add more to her bag. She’s becoming quite the offensive force during her summer with Let It Rain and has shown she can impact the game with her shooting stroke and strong finishes at the rim. She can score from anywhere on the court and uses a quick first step when attacking. She shoots very well off the dribble as well.
Jayla Butler Jayla Butler 5'6" | PG Milwaukee School of Languages | 2022 State WI | 5’6 G | Milwaukee School of Languages
Butler is strongly built and makes up for her height with her ability to defend. She is relentless on defense and will ball pressure the entire length of the floor. On offense she uses shifty handles to break the defense and has so much confidence attacking and drawing the foul against taller defenders.
Isabel Wallschlaeger | 5’4 G | Kettle Moraine | WI Lakers
A great defensive player for her team, Wallschlaeger plays with so much intensity on the floor. She’s scrappy yet poised and has great spacing on the floor. On both ends, she plays with so much heart, and seems to be putting her all into every possession. A great passer for her team, the Kettle Moraine standout finds her teammates open and uses her impressive ball handling skills to wait patiently before dishing out the perfect pass.
Callie Ziebell Callie Ziebell 6'2" | PF Sparta | 2021 State WI | 5’5 G | Slinger | WI Lakers
Ziebell makes up for her height with her very advanced skill set. Her ball handling is top notch, and her strength also allows her to pound the ball on the dribble when attacking the lane. She can play through contact and finish while contested because of her great balance and body control. Ziebell has incredibly fast feet and this often catches defenders off guard. A smooth release to her shot as well, Ziebell has a high ceiling for being an impact point guard.
