Inside-out threat that has a strong back-to-the-basket game. Has good footwork on the block and when attacking from mid-range. Uses head and ball fakes on the low block to get defenders off balance. Made 7-13 (54%) from three. Overall has a well-rounded skill set that will continue to get better. Averaged 10.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.4 blocks.
<strong>5-7 G [player_tooltip player_id="156032" first="Keyonna" last="Giles"] – Arabia Mountain</strong>
Impacts the game in a variety of ways and plays bigger than her size. Averaged 8.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 3 steals. Has a nice outside shot that should improve even more over time. Brings energy on defense especially full court.
<strong>6-2 F MacKenzie Moring – Woodward Academy</strong>
Long-armed lean forward that runs the floor and blocks shots. Averaged 7.6 points, 5 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 2.6 steals and 2.1 blocks. Gets into passing lanes easily and can push the ball. Defense is ahead of her offense.
<strong>5-6 CG Rickayla Johnson – Cedar Grove</strong>
Athletic downhill guard. Potent scorer that led DeKalb County with 18.9 points per game. Also collected 3 assists and 2.8 steals per game. Shot a blistering 70% from inside the arc to lead the county (162-233) as well as hitting 15-34 (44%) from three and 83-115 (72%) from the foul line.
<strong>6-0 C [player_tooltip player_id="148871" first="Layla" last="Hood"] – Elite Scholars Academy</strong>
Physically dominant post presence that put up 19.3 points, 16.3 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.3 blocks. Led the state in rebounding. One-man wrecking crew can start her own fast break and get all the way to the basket. Handles the ball and moves exceptionally well for her size. Makes quick decisive moves around the basket and powers through contact. Should have D-I attention.
