AAU Team Preview – KC Lady Run GMC 17U

The KC Lady Run GMC program is one of the Kansas City metro areas’ finest AAU programs. Lead by Rodney Gilyard, Lady Run GMC is poised to make some noise in this Covid-19 affected summer basketball season. Also filling out the coaching roster is Brandon Jones, Dominique Washington, Kay Hawes, Kinly Grubb, Louis Radford, Mikayla Jensen, and Quinton Day. All are outstanding coaches and have a wealth of basketball knowledge to help guide and mold all the players within the program. There is a ton of talent with the program, which is 1 of 36 teams selected to run on the Under Armor circuit. Housing UA futures teams from 9U to 12U, UA rise 14U, and UA 15U to UAA 17U. Can attack off the dribble and is a knockdown shooter from three with deep range. A very competitive player that plays with no fear. Excellent post scorer with great size. Really rebounds it well. She has deep range from three. Is an elite-level playmaker that gets others involved. Scores at all three levels. An elite shooter from three and has a nice mid-range game. Scores well over both shoulders and has a good touch in mid-post. Solid post defender and rebounder; runs the floor well with a great basketball IQ.
