Although NEX Elite likely isn’t playing this summer due to coronavirus restrictions in the state of Massachusetts, the Braintree based program boasts two strong rosters. The players are still training in small groups and individually, and will enter some tournaments as soon as safely possible, according to director Pat Russell.
Here’s a look at the two teams with some notes about players that the Prep Girls Hoops New England staff has seen.

<p class="p1"><strong>#5 [player_tooltip player_id="183839" first="Avery" last="Burns"]</strong>, Nauset ’21 - A gifted scorer, Burns is a perfect Division 2 or high Division 3 player. League All-Star.</p>
<p class="p1"><strong>#10 [player_tooltip player_id="183934" first="Perry" last="Blasetti"]</strong>, Hingham ’22 - Blasetti has plenty of potential. Her older sister, Haley, is a point guard for Siena College. League All-Star.</p>
<p class="p1"><strong>#12 [player_tooltip player_id="183841" first="Lily" last="Adams"]</strong>, Braintree ’21 - Coming off an ACL injury, Adams has a lot to prove in her senior season. She played significant minutes on an MIAA Division 1 state title team as a sophomore.</p>
