Montana State is coming off of a 25-6 record and were right on track to make an NCAA Tournament appearance before the 2020 season was cut short due to Covid-19. Hughes has been an All-State level player every year of her high school career and outworks her opponents on most possessions. She has helped the Lady Falcons to two runner-up finishes in the 4A classification. The Montana State commit figures to be a 4 in the Big Sky, which is perfect for her playing style and skill set. Hughes is ranked as the number three prospect in Washington's 2021 class.
2021 5'7 PG [player_tooltip player_id="82942" first="Piper" last="Bauer"] (Peninsula HS) is one of the state's better shooters and she is off the board! Bauer took to Twitter to announce her commitment to NCAA Division 2 South Dakota School of Mines. The future Hardrocker- one of the best names in the NCAA by the way- will boost the team's basketball IQ, shooting and all around work ethic at the guard position. She averaged 15 points per game in her junior season for Peninsula. Bauer currently ranks as the 48th best prospect in the state for 2021.
