Shelby Stewart Shelby Stewart 5'8" | SG Corbin | 2022 State KY , Corbin – After averaging 18 points per game in her Junior season and out-playing opponents with more/bigger offers, Stewart deserves more college attention. She holds a handful of NAIA offers but Shelby has shown the ability to score against athletes and she should be a prime target for D2 schools both in state and regionally. A 35% shooter from three, Shelby can effectively score the ball at every level.
Samantha Cornelison Samantha Cornelison 5'8" | SG Madison Southern | 2021 State KY , Madison Southern – Overlooked by many in the state, Cornelison effectively carried her team to 16 wins last season while putting up 17 points per game. Facing double teams and box-and-1 defenses all season, Madison managed to shoot 34% from deep while being covered up by defenders consistently. In state and border state NAIA schools need to be knocking down Madison’s door trying to offer her.
Braylee McMath Braylee McMath 5'6" | PG Great Crossing | 2021 State KY , Great Crossing – Another 18 point per game scorer, McMath stepped into a huge role at Great Crossing in their inaugural season and did not disappoint with her play. Not only can she score but Braylee can also do it efficiently. She put up splits of 47/37/80 and should start getting more looks at the high D2/low D1 level as a shooter. Coaches can find her with her OTP AAU team.
Elise Ellison-Coons Elise Ellison-Coons 5'10" | SF Dunbar | 2021 State KY , Dunbar – How is a top 6 player in the class overlooked? Especially one with a D1 offer? Well, I think Ellison-Coons is a no brainer MM+ D1 player but her offers have yet to reflect that. Elise can score inside or out and averaged 17 points on 44/39/76 and added just under 11 rebounds per game. With great positional size, Ellison-Coons should be catching the eye of coaches the rest of the month and into the season.
