Each one of these prospects puts points on the board, facilities and are fierce defenders. Each player excluding one are non-committed and should be on the radar of coaches looking for players who work well with elite company. Appleton East [player_tooltip player_id="155421" first="Emily" last="La Chapell"], [player_tooltip player_id="132371" first="Lily" last="Hansford"] and [player_tooltip player_id="155770" first="Delaney" last="Clark"] [player_tooltip player_id="155421" first="Emily" last="La Chapell"] | 5’11 CG La Chapell led her team in scoring last season with 16.9 points pre game and 8 rebounds per game. She is a well put together off-guard that can do a bit of everything on the floor- she is not just a shooter and a scorer. She is not fazed by contact on the perimeter; she regularly fights through hand checks and small fouls to create separation for herself. She handles the ball well for her size and has become super confident handling pressure, remaining composed and knowing when to attack the rim. She finds her teammates open as well and has great court vision. [player_tooltip player_id="132371" first="Lily" last="Hansford"] | 6’2 W Hansford has great positional size, build, and athleticism, and these will boost very versatility tremendously. She has the potential to be a versatile defender as well with the ability to guard all perimeter positions and even the power forward position on a good day. Because of her vertical leap and explosiveness, Hansford will rebound well outside of her position; there is always a spot on the team for someone who can do this. She high points the ball as well as any guard in her class. Offensively, Hansford is smooth, and she can she’s an effortless three level scorer. She shows advanced instincts with the ball in her hand; she can read where the defender is playing her and others, and then decide where to attack from there. The knock down lefty has one of the best shooting strokes in her class, a quick release with a smooth touch- Hansford will knock down the perimeter shot effortlessly. [player_tooltip player_id="155770" first="Delaney" last="Clark"] | 6’0 W Clark is an incredibly gifted athlete and prospect with very high upside. She has an amazing physical strength and is very mature in that aspect. Her built frame allows her to play through contact with ease. In fact, she seems to welcome contact because she knows she’s strong enough to finish through it. Her athleticism is through the roof as well; she easily plays multiple positions on the floor. She’s quick yet composed and seems to have a great feel for the game. She is very versatile on both sides of the court- this is a great sign for her future. She has great size and ability to knock down shots from anywhere- while still having a mature and intelligent shot selection. The 2021 wing is committed to Wayne State college. Milwaukee Riverside [player_tooltip player_id="155768" first="Aaleyah" last="Jones"], Shiauna Nixon-Boyd and [player_tooltip player_id="132387" first="Sidney" last="Scruggs"] [player_tooltip player_id="155768" first="Aaleyah" last="Jones"] | 5’6 PG Jones averaged 15.8 points last season for Riverside. Jones is a crafty lead guard that plays with great pace. She plays with poise and patience offensively, and she rarely gets sped up. She understands her size and does not try to be someone she is not; she doesn’t force opportunities. She is smart and lets the defense bite before attacking the rim. She can flare off of screens to create space or use her impressive handles to get the defender dancing. She is also an advanced defender that reads the passing lane well and often jumps passes to get steals. She currently holds division one offers from Southern Utah and Coppin State. [player_tooltip player_id="155775" first="Shiauna" last="Nixon- Boyd"] | 5’8 G Nixon- Boyd averaged 10 points per game last season and is on the rise for having a breakout season during her next campaign at Milwaukee Riverside. She is a versatile talent with a lot of upside. She is a crazy slasher and phenomenal at exploding out of the triple-threat position and beginning her downhill drive. She is great at using her off arm to create space, but not commit an offensive foul. She takes advantage of her finishing skills and uses en elite euro-step or gather-step to avoid incoming defenders. Her body and motor give her the ability to be a great two way player for this Riverside squad. [player_tooltip player_id="132387" first="Sidney" last="Scruggs"] | 5’5 G Scruggs averaged 10 points per game and 2.5 steals per game. She is an elite off- ball guard that is becoming a lights out shooter and has added consistency to her shooting form. She has a quick release and a fluid flick of the wrist on her jumper as well. She is a fantastic catch-and-shoot player, especially when running off screens or receiving the ball off handoffs. She is comfortable shooting off the dribble as well, and she is most definitely a contested shot maker- a hand in the face does not faze her. Scruggs shows advanced point guard skills as well and has no problem running the offense for this team. She has great on-court vision and seems to enjoy getting her teammates involved. She’s a scrappy defender with the ability to consistently play tight defense full court. Scruggs brings versatility to both ends and can have a breakout game at any moment.
