2021
Taylor Jarrels-5’8 guard Houston Dream (Lamar Consolidated HS)
Jarrels has been on a tear all season and after finally being able to play at a hunnid, there is no way she won’t be on the next Top 100 update and when you’re an explosive scorer that does what she does against next-level talent, you get the picture I’m actually giving you via Polaroid but her first step, her jumper, her range as well as ballhandling under pressure has shown me a lot
Ravyn Ellis-5’8 guard Houston Dream (Bellaire HS)
Ellis just does so many things well, she can switch from a guard to forward because she rebounds well against taller players and she can defend in the paint but her range has gotten deeper over the years, her ability to create her shot under pressure while adding a solid pull-up jumper makes her hard to handle offensively and when you throw in her attacking the basket and finishing ….
2022
Taylor Cross-guard (Episcopal HS)
The first impression from her during skills and drills gave me a glimpse of what was coming and as usual, I was right because her mid to long-range game was on, she creates her shot effortlessly and attacks from everywhere but her ballhandling also a bright spot, not to leave out her ability to see the floor and make the pass and when you factor in she did under pressure, that speaks volumes
Tse Nizhoni Morgan-6’0 post-Superstarz (Somerset HS)
Morgan’s name means “Pretty Rock” and her game has been pretty rock solid as I play on words while she does it over and over on the court, no I don’t forget anything and thinking back to that first Tip Sheet she made a few years ago, I said “watch out for her upside” and with her added “hands and footwork” to go with “size and strength” she’s on the verge of something else
2023
Reagan Harris-5’11 forward (Johnson HS Buda)
Harris has the solid body that enables her to withstand punishment while also giving it yet she can step outside and create her shot, put it on the floor and attack the basket as well as finish after contact and while all of that is big, a couple of other things stood out, like her seeing the floor from her position and making solid passes plus her impressive rebounding, on both ends as she makes her presence felt
Viviana Moreno-5’4 point guard San Antonio Islanders (Brandeis HS)
Moreno gets the “size don’t matter” hashtag just about every time I see her because she can play and she showed me that right here at this event a year ago. She’s heady, she can control the tempo and she plays within herself, but wait, her range was pretty good last season but it’s even deeper and just as consistent and watching her think the game as she creates for herself or teammates is always impressive
2024
Tatyanna Bailey-5’10 forward Austin Elite (Hendrickson HS)
Bailey will debut on the PGH Texas 2024 Watch List because I just know what’s coming. She was playing up and I was impressed and wondering “who is this kid” and when I finally looked at the roster and saw her class, to say I was overly impressed would be an understatement. Good size, good frame and a very good understanding of the game and when it clicks that she can simple takeover, thank me later
