Prep Girls Hoops takes a look at some more ladies from the 2021 Palmetto State Class. These players recently played in Rock Hill, SC at the Insider Exposure / Big Shots Carolina Live event.

Thompson really works for position in the paint. Thompson connected on a few nice turnaround jumpers today and felt comfortable from 6-8 feet on the floor. Thompson rebounds the ball well outside of her area and showed a soft touch around the cup. Thompson didn’t mind playing with contact.

Hatchell is a blue collar worker in the paint for Head Coach Larry Roberts. Hatchell does a bit of everything for her team while on the floor. Hatchell can stuff the shat sheet every game in every category. Hatchell will provide senior leadership this season for the Lady Chiefs in a very tough Class 4A region.

Williams is a very heady player with her play on the floor. Williams connected on some mid-range jumpers while logging a lot of minutes this weekend for the Lowcountry Premier team. Williams sees the floor very well with her court vision and isn’t afraid to defend on the ball.

Prep Girls Hoops saw Watts playing last month with a local team the Laurens County Sparks. Watts now playing for Head Coach Richard Waiters and the red, white and blue of the Palmetto 76ers. Watts at times today played a bit tentative but finally started feeling comfortable in the 2 games we watched her play. Watts connected on some 15-17 foot jumpers today and was able to be active in the passing lanes at times.

Warren a point guard was the primary ball-handler all weekend long for the Hilton Head area based squad. Warren was able to use the ball screen very well today. Warren really looked to score the ball at times today from the point guard position. Warren got the ball into the paint and was able t finish on contact a few occasions.
