In the last week I have listed out several of the top guards in the 2021 graduating class that are still available in their recruitment. Follow the highlighted links for part one and part two. In part three, college coaches can find some more available players at the point guard and shooting guard positions.
2021 5’6 SG [player_tooltip player_id="82938" first="Shaunice" last="Reed"] (#37 Overall, #7 SG) (Franklin HS) - An aggressive scorer that has averaged right around 20 points per game in high school since she stepped foot onto Franklin High School’s campus. Reed is strong, competitive and capable of going on 6-0 scoring runs by herself at times. Also an above average defender.
2021 5’10 SG [player_tooltip player_id="48051" first="Sophia" last="Liesse"] (#42 Overall, #8 SG) (Lake Washington HS) - Liesse brings versatility to the backcourt at 5’10. She is consistent in the 8-10 points per game scoring range, but she is capable of getting hot as she displayed in the 2020 state tourney where she knocked down four 3’s in route to 22 points. She can defend multiple positions and is a KingCo "All Defensive" type of player with her knack for getting steals and blocks. *Feature image
2021 5’7 PG [player_tooltip player_id="48055" first="Karina" last="McMillan"] (#50 Overall, #10 PG) (Sumner HS) - A hard working point guard that has improved some every year of high school. McMillan recently had some standout performances at a tourney with her club team where she led the team in scoring and picked up multiple steals. She is strong, has a solid handle and she can defend on the ball pretty well.
2021 5’6 PG [player_tooltip player_id="82956" first="Regan" last="Clark"] (#52 Overall, #11 PG) (Kamiakin HS) - Potentially underrated in the rankings, but Clark is a good high school player and can score it from all three levels. She defends hard and can make plays on both sides of the ball with her aggressive style of play.
