#1 Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda 6'2" | SF Sioux Falls Washington | 2022 State SD , 6’3 Wing, Sioux Falls Washington H.S
Probably the best player in the state of South Dakota, regardless of class. Mwenentanda has next level skills, next level drive, next level talent and a heart of gold. With 20 plus power five offers, she can be effective on both ends of the court. Sound enough to play the point, aggressive enough to score the ball and long enough to be a force on defense. Total Package!
#5 Kaycee Groves Kaycee Groves 5'11" | SF Faith | 2022 State SD , 5’11 SF, Faith H.S.
Groves plays with a nice pace. A taller wing player that slashes to the rim well. She has the ability to knock down the open three but typically attacks the rim. Not too much tape on her this summer season, her AAU squad didn’t play as much. Covid and 2020 messed up a good thing.
#10 Ainsley Shelsta Ainsley Shelsta 6'5" | C Brookings | 2022 State SD 6’5 Center, Brooking H.S
Looking for a throwback post? I present Ainsley Shelsta Ainsley Shelsta 6'5" | C Brookings | 2022 State SD ! Block shots at a high rate, knows how to cover ground in the paint, all while high pointing the ball. Offensively sound, has a great drop stops and keeps the ball high.
#25 Sydney Thue 6’0 PF, Brandon Valley H.S.
Stretch fours are the new basketball golden child. If you have size, and length, and can shoot, and can dribble and cause matchup problems. Then you can be a stretch four. Thue has all those attributes. She’s a 6 footer who can post up and step out around or near the arc.
#30 Tabor Teel Tabor Teel 6'0" | SG West Central | 2022 State SD 5’9 Combo Guard, Tri-Valley H.S.
When I last saw Teel, she was shredding defenders on her way to an AND One! She has sneaky speed and athleticism. She has become a solid all-around player. Will be the go-to player this year at Tri-Valley. So I expect a heavier offensive load.
