Dayton Shootout AM Black Team: Part 1

<span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Today’s players come from the AM Black team from the Dayton Shootout this past Sunday. The AM Black team played well together- unselfish basketball! </span> <strong><span style="font-family: ’times new roman’, times, serif;">#0 Sophie Aldridge, 2024, Franklin: </span></strong><span style="font-family: ’times new roman’, times, serif;">This young lady is full of potential. Cuts to the basket well, makes the right decisions on transition, filling the lanes.  Has good size which helps in her rebounding. Defensively plays strong. Keep an eye on her!</span> <strong><span style="font-family: ’times new roman’, times, serif;">#1 Sami Bardonaro, 2023, Butler: </span></strong><span style="font-family: ’times new roman’, times, serif;">Crisp passer who runs the offense well! Takes the ball to the basket with strength. Has quick feet, and nice hesitation moves when penetrating to basket. Sees the court well, and loves a fast pace game- she leads transition very quickly, and effectively. Solid moves, can take it coast to coast. With her size and strength, she can seal her defender down low to create offensive opportunities. Good hands, gets to the free throw line. She hurts you with driving to the basket, and hits her free throws.  Impressed with her defense as well- she'll defend anyone! Great handles, but what's most impressive is her hustle.
