5-11 PF [player_tooltip player_id="195832" first="Emyah" last="Fortenberry"] – Peak Miller – Lakeside-DeKalb
[player_tooltip player_id="195832" first="Emyah" last="Fortenberry"] made a strong first impression with her toughness in the paint. She’s a productive post presence with long arms and good timing. She alters and blocks shots in her area and does a good job battling in the paint for rebounds. Fortenberry has active hands, able to reach in and dig balls out and frustrate opponents. She had 3 points, 13 rebounds, 1 steal and 3 blocks in a win.

Coming off the bench, Mary Grace Durham excelled as a floor spacer. She’s got good size and a versatile skill set that can pull away opposing bigs from the paint. Durham buried 4 threes and provided a major lift offensively. She helped out on the glass as well finishing with 14 points, 4 rebounds and 1 steal. It was a very positive outing for the forward that has received interest at the D-II level.
6-2 C [player_tooltip player_id="192175" first="Arielle" last="Belinga"] – FBC BounceNation Jay 2021 – Sandy Creek
DL Impact had no answer for [player_tooltip player_id="192175" first="Arielle" last="Belinga"] inside. The space eating post moved opponents out of the way when crashing the offensive glass. She rebounded, kept the ball high and would finish in traffic. Belinga finished with 9 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. She is a quality option for schools in search of size and upside.
5-8 PG [player_tooltip player_id="153101" first="Carly" last="Fahey"] – Atlanta Cagers BlueChip-Storms – Hebron Christian – UNC Asheville
Overmatched in a loss to FBC United the Family, [player_tooltip player_id="153101" first="Carly" last="Fahey"] was a bright spot for the Atlanta Cagers, dumping in a game-high 19 points of her team’s 40. Fahey was not intimidated by FBC’s length and star power. She did a great job of getting to basket and keeping the pressure on their interior defenders. The UNC Asheville-commit is deceptively shifty when getting downhill. She uses her body well and can finish with crafty scoop shots all while avoiding shot blockers. Fahey knocked down 2 threes as well.
5-9 SG [player_tooltip player_id="118105" first="Olympia" last="Chaney"] – FBC BounceNation Jay 2021
[player_tooltip player_id="118105" first="Olympia" last="Chaney"] proved she was more than just a three-pointer this weekend as she was productive without hitting one in the two games I saw. Chaney scored on some drives and brought a consistent source of rebounding. She had 9 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals vs. DL Impact before chipping in 4 points, 6 rebounds and 1 steal in a win over the Georgia Pearls. It will be interesting to see where she plays her senior season. She has the skill to make a sizeable impact wherever she goes.
