Linsey Myles (2024) has a bright future ahead of her. Watching her play makes you think that she is much older than she is with her basketball IQ and strength. She was strong with the ball underneath the basket posting up against her opponents using effective moves like up and unders and spin moves. She was persistent going after rebounds putting them back up for second chance points or pushing them up the other end of the court if it was a defensive board. She also caused some steals on defense jumping into passing lanes making it difficult for opponents to get a play going.
Zayjah Knight (2024) seemed to have fast break after fast break whether it was her grabbing the steal and pushing it up the court or her running the floor being ready for the pass. She fought through contact driving to the basket.
Camille Files (2025) was another player who seemed to find herself having some easy layups on offense. This certainly didn’t come easy, though, because she caused the steals to gain the possession, or she was busting up and down the floor being ready for a pass in transition. She could strip the ball out of players’ hands or jump into passing lanes to grab the steal. Her shot from downtown was nice to watch, too.
Janiya McCoy (2025) was a great ball handler for Team Elite. She was constantly moving well with the ball letting her teammates develop the play correctly. She knew how to use her handles to create separation between her and her opponent in order to show off her jump shot. Her ball handling with speed was effective when pushing the ball up the court on fast breaks after she was able to get these steals. On defense, she was aggressive going after the ball closing out on her opponents and knocking the ball out of her hands.
Kahliyah Geddis (2024) for Unleashed did well handling the ball protecting the possession and finding her open teammates. She was fast and constantly kept her head up knowing where she should be going with the ball whether she was driving to get there or looking to pass to her teammates. She crashed the boards and would rebound for her team, too. She wasn’t afraid to handle contact whether she was driving with the ball or stepping in to take a charge.
Sabri Mitchell (2025) ran the floor well using her height and speed to make plays on both ends. She was aggressive with her moves handling the ball to get around her opponents in order to score with a jump shot or layup. She also got back on defense quickly to prevent the other team from getting easy points in transition.
