Saija Cleveland Saija Cleveland 5'10" | PF Langham Creek | 2022 State TX -5’10 PF
Cleveland plays the right position because she’s powerful and her skillset keeps moving forward but watching her dismantle the defense always grabs me into #THROWBACK mode and much of that is because she watched her talented sister grow up in that era when the game was different, her sister also played at the next level and Cleveland absorbed so much that it shows on the court. Either taking defenders strongly off the dribble and finishing after the lick or showing the pull-up from midrange and even bta and don’t get me started on the rebounding and defense

Aniyah Sanford Aniyah Sanford 5'5" | PG Langham Creek | 2023 State TX -5’5 PG
Sanford just keeps amazing me, first of all, she’s a small guard, yet she’s a skilled guard with great BB-IQ and one more time, I’ll hashtag it for you, #sizedontmatter when you can play and watching her “control the tempo” “handle the press as well as the traps” and even more importantly “handling the ball under pressure” but I’ve said all of that countless times and she progresses, those intangibles like playing with poise just keep separating her from the “group” because college coaches love that “coach on the floor” that won’t panic and won’t let the team fall apart so with her being able to “see the floor” and make the right passes to right people add fuel to the fire but so does her offense, either attacking with either hand and finishing with either hand, yes I see she’s been working and as I close with her three-ball, what’s next
Erin Lloyd-5’5 CG
Lloyd really surprised me as one of the first reserves to come in and she did a good job at the one or the two, showed she could handle the ball and make plays as well as flipping it and shooting the mid to long-range but I was also impressed with her defense and the intensity show brought to the table. This team has a lot of spots that are interchangeable with different players without a huge drop-off and she showed she could be serviceable

Heather Baymon Heather Baymon 5'6" | PG Langham Creek | 2024 State TX -5’6 CG
Baymon has been a player I’ve been waiting years to hear, starting a guard, the freshman, Heather Baymon Heather Baymon 5'6" | PG Langham Creek | 2024 State TX and even though there was not an announcer, I improvised and said it to myself but I also announced years ago that she was a #D1Lock, it’s documented but watching her evolve into the offensive terror she is becoming because she just gets it and will adjust to the high school speed of the game with ease. She also has one of the best “stop and pop” jumpers in the area, maybe the state, right now and her cat-like defense will enable her to set records for steals
