Rankings Update: 2022 Top Shooters

<span style="font-weight: 400;">The 2022 class has a strong case for shooters as these players can sink it from deep and the three-pointer is clearly imbedded into the DNA of their overall game.  [player_tooltip player_id="158514" first="Cali" last="Denson"] is the renown shooter from Milwaukie who has been lightning scoreboards up during her last two seasons.  [player_tooltip player_id="158515" first="Charlotte" last="Richman"] is a refined guard who has the ability to score from the arc at any time.  [player_tooltip player_id="158516" first="Danika" last="Starr"] is a skilled scorer whose ability to shoot is simply another facet of her game.  [player_tooltip player_id="158519" first="Sofia" last="Megert"] is a guard who plays with a lot of tenacity and whose perimeter shot is a strong cornerstone of what she does.  [player_tooltip player_id="207816" first="Brooklyn" last="Strandy"] is a superb athlete who structurally shoots the ball efficiently, which her game certainly details.   </span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158514" first="Cali" last="Denson"] 2022 5’7" PG ABA/Milwaukie HS</strong> - Cali is a prolific volume shooter who has a lot of skill, as her shot creating abilities are all rooted from her plethora of dribbling moves.  She is a witty guard who thrives in the one-on-one setting and especially in the pick and roll setting.  From averaging 25 as a freshman and 27 as aa sophomore, there is no mistake why Cali has already achieved 1,000 points during her first two years at Milwaukie.  She continued these merits in the AAU season, where she was a constant cog on offense.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158515" first="Charlotte" last="Richman"] 2022 5’7" SG Clutch Players/Wilson HS</strong> - Charlotte is an adept guard who averaged 18 points last season as Wilson HS, achieving 1st Team All-PIL, as she is a scorer from all three levels but was known to let it go from anywhere on the court.  She has a skill for knowing when the defense is loose and isn’t afraid of letting it go.  Richman provided such abilities for Clutch Players as a guard who is incredibly affluent as a floor general but also has the ability to knock it down from deep anytime.</span> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158516" first="Danika" last="Starr"] 2022 6’1" SG Oregon Elite/Sheldon HS</strong> - Danika is the decorated scorer out of the Eugene area, as she is a poised and determined player who can get it done at all three levels.  What is most significant about her is that she gives what the defense allows, whether that is a three-pointer or a mid-range jumper.  Great consistency as the mid-range jumper is almost a lay-up for her - which goes to show her consistency from her structured offensive game. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158519" first="Sofia" last="Megert"] 2022 5’5" Oregon Elite/South Eugene HS</strong> - Megert is a tremendously guard for South Eugene who is a microwave for her team, as she has the shifty ability to get off her shot along the arc.  This resulted in a prolific six three-pointers made versus an elite South Medford team in which she displayed her ability to knock down the jupmper with great accuracy as she went off for 30 points.  She is a gritty scorer who plays with a chip on her shoulder on both ends of the floor. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="207816" first="Brooklyn" last="Strandy"] 2022 6’0" SG NW Stars/West Albany HS</strong> - Strandy’s biggest attribute is her athletic ability and fluidity as an athlete, as she has quite a bit of spring when she catches the ball, as on a biomechanical level she translates the potential energy from her lower half perfectly into her shot.  This allows for a quick release along the perimeter, as well as the ability to get off a ton of shots with variability in the paint.  She is a high volume shooter who makes a ton of skill shots, as seen from her sophomore year at West Albany.
