Listed below are a group of ladies that are talented, and efficient players that can definitely play at the next level. College coaches should take interest into these players and definitely see them play during their last high school season. These players are part of the Sac-Joaquin Section Division 1 league. [player_tooltip player_id="102684" first="Mya" last="Blake"]- 2021, 5’4”, PG, #10, Edison High School (Stockton, CA) I’ve talked about Mya Black before and she is one of the most athletic players in the game. She has great ball handling skills, can dribble past any player at any defensive level. She is very aggressive off the dribble, therefore she is a very entertaining player to watch. Someone could be right on her and she’ll still get by them no question. Not only is she effective while on the dribble, but she is also very effective without the ball. She moves off the ball very efficiently, always trying to get open for her teammates. [player_tooltip player_id="102684" first="Mya" last="Blake"] averaged 22.5 PPG, and scored a total of 472 pointsduring her Junior season. Not only that she averaged 4.1 SPG. Blake scored 49 3 pointers and had a 33% 3P%, Mya also had a 47% FG%, and a 76% FT%. Mya has some phenomenal statistics, and she really stands out. Blake is an all-around competitive player that has the ability to play at the collegiate level. Arianna Baldon-2021, 5’8”, SG, #5, Chavez High School (Stockton, CA) Arianna Baldon is a big hustler on the court. She commits to every play, and is always getting steals left and right. Baldon is always aware of where the ball is at, she puts up a lot of shots throughout the games. Baldon is definitely one of the tougher players to guard. She is very intimidating when it comes to the fast break. Arianna’s only goal is to score when she is heading to the basket. Baldon also has a very quick release on her jumpshot, and has very good form. Arianna averaged 16.3 PPG her junior year, and scored a total of 325 points in total. She also averaged 2.6 RPG, and had a 59% FT%. She gets to the free throw line quite frequently. Bladon has a winning mentality that is hard to compete with, losing is not in her vocabulary. Charity Gallegos- 2021, 5’3”, Guard, Captain, #10, Folsom High School(Folsom,CA) Charity is the definition of a star. She has one of the best handles in the game, and she can drive through traffic with no issue whatsoever. Not only that, she has a killer crossover that can not be stopped. It’s unbelievable how quick she is with her ball handling. Another great thing about her is that she can pass like a champ. Gallegos makes great passes on the fast break, and always knows where her teammates are. Her passing accuracy is always 100%. Charity averaged 13.4 PPG, and scored a total of 335 points during the 2019-2020 season. She also averaged 4.6 APG, 4.6 RPG, and 3.3 SPG. Her fieldgoal percentage was 41%, and her free-throw percentage was 82%. Charity does it all, and makes it all look so easy. Her height doesn’t matter, she can play with any player at any height easily. She has a killer jumpshot, and can shoot from way beyond the arc without any issues. Charity Gallegos is an outstanding player that has the competitiveness to play at a high level. (Credit from Simply Basketball) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxgpOUUe7i4 [player_tooltip player_id="189651" first="Sidney" last="Richards"]- 2021, 5’7”, PG & SG, #5, Inderkum High School (Sacramento,CA) [player_tooltip player_id="189651" first="Sidney" last="Richards"] is a multi-talented player that can do anything and everything on the court. When it comes to ball-handling, shooting, defense, she can do it all. Richards can dribble through traffic, and can pull-up on the fast break. She has a good basketball IQ, she is very smart on defense and offense. Sidney has already committed to San Jose State to play college basketball. Richards truly deserves it, she is a very hard worker. Sidney averaged 13.0 PPG, and scored a total 324 points during her Junior season. She also averaged 3.1 APG, 5.3 RPG, and 2.2 SPG. She also had a 70% FT%. Sidney gets to the free-throw line quite frequently. Like I have said before it is one of the most important shots in the game. Overall, she is a ruthless player. [player_tooltip player_id="189651" first="Sidney" last="Richards"] definitely has the talent to play at a higher level.
