<strong>Top 250 Expo: Top Rebounders</strong>
These post presences dominated the glass. A lot did more than just rebound, but their consistency on the boards drew our attention.
<strong>2021 6-2 C [player_tooltip player_id="118127" first="Taylor" last="Christmas"] – Southwest DeKalb<img class="wp-image-196701 size-thumbnail alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/08/65812CA7-0CD9-4733-9E51-9BDACB4107C5-scaled-150x150.jpeg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></strong>
It was another double-double performance for [player_tooltip player_id="118127" first="Taylor" last="Christmas"] in Game 1 of camp, posting 12 points, 10 rebounds and 1 block. She has consistently played at a high level on the block. Christmas has the strength and the skill to help a collegiate program. Her upside as a floor spacer makes her a unique player.
<strong>2022 5-10 PF [player_tooltip player_id="210361" first="Kate" last="McBride"] – St. Pius X</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="210361" first="Kate" last="McBride"] did the little things. She cleaned the glass and defended well, but not all rebounds are the same. Sometimes the ball just drops in your lap but for McBride, she worked her tail off. Every time a shot went up, she found a body and hit it. Her exceptional box outs eliminated second chances. Good block outs aren’t a stat and can often go overlooked, but it definitely drew my attention and will do the same for college coaches.
<strong>2021 6-3 C Sussy Ngluefac – Parkview<img class="wp-image-206461 size-thumbnail alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/09/IMG_8839-150x150.jpg" alt="[player_tooltip player_id=" width="150" height="150" /></strong>
Maybe the most physical and imposing player at camp, Sussy Ngluefac bullied opponents in the paint. She puts her body on them and traps them under the basket when sealing inside and can fend off would-be rebounders with her broad shoulders. She’s a difference maker in the paint.
<strong>2023 6-4 C [player_tooltip player_id="195902" first="Mallory" last="Collier"] – Holy Spirit Prep</strong>
One of the best players in camp, [player_tooltip player_id="195902" first="Mallory" last="Collier"] both scored at a high level and rebounded at a high level. She’s a cornerstone on the low block and a future High Major player. Terrific footwork and great hands, Collier got whatever she wanted inside. We will have plenty more to say about her in the near future.
<strong>2022 6-3 C [player_tooltip player_id="210373" first="Ella" last="Boyle"] – Holy Spirit Prep</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="210373" first="Ella" last="Boyle"]’s mobility and ball skills were on display as she attacked the basket in a variety of ways. Her offensive game and overall confidence continue to grow. She hit a handful of threes and created for herself off the dribble. Boyle’s rebounding and defensive prowess was a constant throughout camp. She’s on the verge of blowing up.
