Heading into the season, the Shore Conference remains one of the best in the state. There are numerous teams that could go on to win their state sectional title. They are led by Division I talent all over. Here are the top teams for the 2020-2021 season.
<strong>St. John Vianney</strong>
St. John Vianney will have [player_tooltip player_id="134626" first="Madison" last="St. Rose"] back and she is only entering her junior season. St. Rose has already solidified herself as one of, if not the best, basketball player in the state. They finished with just one loss last season and could see the same success once again.
<strong>Manchester Township</strong>
This is a team that is coming off four straight state sectional titles. [player_tooltip player_id="134607" first="Destiny" last="Adams"] is on her way to North Carolina and would like to win another to solidify herself as an all-time great in the state of New Jersey. They are extremely well-rounded and very well-coached.
<strong>Red Bank Catholic</strong>
The Caseys will be near the top of the conference once again. Tennessee commit [player_tooltip player_id="134627" first="Justine" last="Pissott"] will return as a candidate for Shore Conference Player of the Year along with [player_tooltip player_id="134631" first="Ally" last="Carman"]. They have a nice mix on the offensive end which will help them continue to be a powerhouse.
<strong>Jackson Memorial</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="134585" first="Kristina" last="Donza"] has moved on but Jackson Memorial will have [player_tooltip player_id="155550" first="Rachel" last="Capua"] back for her final season. She is a 1000-point scorer already and will look to add to that this season. Jackson Memorial can continue to be a powerhouse on the back of Capua for one more season.
<strong>St. Rose</strong>
St. Rose won 22 games a season ago and finished a couple games behind Red Bank Catholic in their division. They should continue their success given the fact that they are a well-rounded team on both ends. They are losing a key player in [player_tooltip player_id="134582" first="Brynn" last="Farrell"] but [player_tooltip player_id="134621" first="Abigail" last="Antognoli"] is ready to step into that leadership role.
