THE OLD GUARD

There are a base of consistent stars that have been in the fold since they walked in as freshman. We’ll start with a look at a few of these players.
[player_tooltip player_id="4132" first="Damiya" last="Hagemann"] (PG, Detroit Edison)
Hagemann walked into high school as a star and will exit high school an even bigger star. The Michigan State commit has been consistently ranked among the top 2-3 players her entire high school career. Hagemann is magical with the ball, controlling defenders on the bounce and dropping dimes to teammates in scoring position.
[player_tooltip player_id="27966" first="Bree" last="Salenbien"] (SF, Lenawee Christian)
Salenbien is a Gonzaga commit and a big time player at that. Her height, length, ball skills, and well rounded game make her impossible to cover at the high school level. Even more so, she has a game that will transfer very nicely to the next level.
[player_tooltip player_id="26677" first="Morasha" last="Wiggins"] (SF, Kalamazoo Central)
Wiggins is an elite basketball talent that had her choice of schools across the country. The North Carolina commit has certainly etched out a niche to be remembered for. That is her toughness and defensive intensity. She is a relentless defender that can play very physical D.

NEWCOMERS

A highlight of rankings updates is welcoming the newcomers to the list. I’ll give you 1 example of a player that will be debuting on the prospect list.
[player_tooltip player_id="221757" first="Ashley" last="Richmond"] (PG, Grand Rapids West Catholic)
Richmond has done more than earn her way on to the prospect rankings. She’s a skilled guard that can play on or off the ball, but in my opinion, will translate to the next level as a lead guard. Richmond is quick and aggressive with the dribble, having the ability to change direction and pace with relative ease.

STOCK RISERS

Everyone always wants to see which prospects are "stock risers’ in the class. Let’s look at 1 example of that will be found in our updated 2021 rankings.
[player_tooltip player_id="138410" first="Ndidiamaka" last="Ndukwe"] (SF, Summit Academy)
Her previous ranking of 154 was way off. She’s shown that she’s too strong and too athletic to be ranked so low. Ndukwe can put her defender on her hip and have her way offensively. She’ll be rising a lot with the rankings update.
