The following kids are kids in our opinion that will fit the D2, NAIA and D3 scheme of things, we believe they will have a great career playing at any of these schools. Some times we have to recognize that whatever schools are recruiting us, most likely that is the level that we belong in. Some will get D1 interest, but never receive an offer from that school, but the D2, NAIA and D3 schools have already offered you and you ignore them. My motto, "You are who is recruiting you".
2022, 5’10, SG, Santa Barbara HS, [player_tooltip player_id="103354" first="Jaeda" last="Spence"] - Spence is a player that’s capable of playing both forward positions. In small ball lineups when she’s at the power forward, she acts as a stretch big who can face up and shoot jumpers. Solid mid-range game. At small forward, she can handle the ball on the wing and run the floor in transition. Good finisher at the rim. She’s a strong rebounder. Has a bit of a size advantage over smaller wings.
2022, 5’6, SG/PG, ML King HS, [player_tooltip player_id="204045" first="Jordan" last="Arreola"] - Shifty shooting guard with a nice stroke from the outside, she is crafty, she can handle it and is an all around athlete on the floor. She is a shotmaker, not a shot taker and that goes a long way for a coach who needs a girl who can put the ball in the hole. She can defend the 1 & 2, keeps her opponent in front and is a decent help side defender as well. Her best attribute to the game is her ability to make shots, Coaches, I repeat, her ability to MAKE SHOTS…
2022, 5’5, SG, Sonora HS, [player_tooltip player_id="103372" first="Brianna" last="Escobedo"] - is a tough scrappy guard talent, she is young, so upside is high. She can handle it, she can shoot it and she is a very willing defender as well. Works hard on the floor. This kid will fit at one of the small schools, she is primed after a good club season or high school season this year to breakout with excitement. She is a great student and a great kid to check out coaches.
2022, 5’2, PG, Orangewood Academy HS, [player_tooltip player_id="151230" first="Kristal" last="Caldwell"] - Kristal is a firecracker, she is quick, she is strong, she is fearless on the floor and most cannot stay in front of her with the ball in her hands. She is a lefty, so she has a nice stroke from outside, she knocked down two three pointers in this game and got to the rim and finish thru contact.
