We continue our look into standouts from the 28.5 League in Arizona, as the final session provided a lot of insight as far as outstanding talent in Oregon. [player_tooltip player_id="158542" first="Kennedie" last="Shuler"], the dazzling point guard from Barlow continued to display her exciting tendencies as a finisher and playmaker. [player_tooltip player_id="204579" first="Carly" last="Wheeler"] had a great weekend as a consistency scorer with defensive upside. Dani Starr is an eclectic talent with inside/outside presence who makes a living alongside the perimeter. [player_tooltip player_id="158515" first="Charlotte" last="Richman"] is the poised point guard who never lets up against tough adversaries. [player_tooltip player_id="204588" first="Alexa" last="Borter"] is a unique player who makes marks all around the court with her savvy decision making and ability to score from all over. [player_tooltip player_id="207832" first="Eve" last="Hart"] has been making steady contributions as an ignited two-way player for NW Stars White. [player_tooltip player_id="158550" first="Beaux" last="Bruegman"] is a new face for Oregon Elite Gold, but shows a lot of promise as an athletic versatile player with the ability to score in the paint and from the perimeter.
<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158542" first="Kennedie" last="Shuler"] 2023 5’9" PG NW Stars Navy/Barlow HS</strong> - The dynamic floor general had a big weekend as a poised and electric guard with the ability to take opponents with a single move and showed off her impressive lay-up package. She is able to contort her body mid-air and make some showstopping lay-ups with a lot of variability - avoiding defenders in the process. In her 11 point, 4 rebound, 2 assist effort versus ABA she showed off some serious offensive prowess in a valiant performance. </span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="204579" first="Carly" last="Wheeler"] 2021 5’11" SG Oregon Elite Gold/Sheldon HS</strong> - The recent San Diego Christian commit had an impressive weekend as she was able to be amongst Oregon Elite Gold’s top scorers. She can hit from the arc as well as hustles and makes plays on defense as she had a sequence where she hit a three, stole the inbounds and made a nice baseline floater. Her 9 points versus Clutch Cardinal were very telling of her vast ability to score based on creativity and determination. </span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Dani Starr 2022 6’1" SF Oregon Elite Navy/Sheldon HS</strong> - Dani is a polished and highly skilled scorer with size and consistency alongside the perimeter. She has the ability to sink it from three as well as at the mid-range level as an efficient and selective scorer who does it with a lot of confidence. Starr has a solid frame and IQ to make plays as a rebounder and facilitator who plays well based on feel. Her 14 point, 3 rebound, 2 assist performance versus EBO was highly indicative of her skill set. </span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158515" first="Charlotte" last="Richman"] 2022 5’7" SG Clutch Rose/Wilson HS</strong> - Charlotte continued to show her steady and sharp skills as a leader at the off-guard spot, as she is a game manager who doesn’t break upon pressure. She knows how to play with resilience and how to orchestrate a team as well as hit deep shots from beyond the three-point line. Versus a tough Arizona Elite Prep team, she contributed a 8 point, 4 rebound, 3 assist performance as she was a crucial reason they were in the game.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="204588" first="Alexa" last="Borter"] 2021 5’11" SF Clutch Cardinal/Beaverton HS</strong> - Borter continued to have a great showing as an all-around player with the ability to affect a game in a multitude of ways. She makes the right play routinely as an established passer in the high post with the ability to scrap and score inside the paint. A determined defender who has the ability to guard multiple positions. Her 13 point, 2 rebound, 4 assist, 2 steal effort versus a talented Oregon Elite Gold squad was representative of her merits last weekend.</span>
Honorable Mention
<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="207832" first="Eve" last="Hart"] 2022 5’10" SF NW Stars White/Lincoln HS</strong> - Eve has made huge strides with NW Stars White as a serviceable guard with discipline and awareness as she makes plays as a passer and inside scorer who can hit the open three-pointer. Her hustle and grit on defense have not gone unnoticed as the guard is very calculated and determined in her efforts on that end of the ball. She is amongst the best two-way plays for her team and whose game is steadily improving. </span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158550" first="Beaux" last="Bruegman"] 2023 5’10" SF Oregon Elite Gold/Sheldon HS</strong> - The volleyball/basketball star from Eugene finally made her AAU debut with an exciting Oregon Elite Gold team with a lot of upside and fit in immediately as an outside/inside player with rebounding abilities. Although she is usually relied on by her Sheldon team as an interior scorer, Oregon Elite is expanding her skillset as she sits alongside the perimeter and hits open shots for her club. Solid defender with good effort and discipline on that end.</span>
