As we take a last look at the Oregon based standouts from the 28.5 League in Arizona, we look at a pool of players with eclectic talents and skill sets. [player_tooltip player_id="158517" first="Halle" last="Hageman"] is the dynamic guard who has the ability to change pace and affect the game for her team in a positive manner. [player_tooltip player_id="158564" first="Zoe" last="Borter"] is big guard who plays with a certain resilience and energy that is difficult to match. [player_tooltip player_id="207826" first="Audrey" last="Kehoe"] had made some significant strides as a high motor player with the ability to score in the paint. [player_tooltip player_id="204575" first="Afton" last="Keeney"] has size, discipline, and skills as an all-around forward for Clutch Cardinal. [player_tooltip player_id="207819" first="Carly" last="Stone"] had a significant performance in a victory over a very tough Cal Sparks Gold squad. [player_tooltip player_id="207821" first="Gracie" last="Arnold"] and [player_tooltip player_id="158524" first="Lindsey" last="Wilson"] have had significant summers for Oregon Elite Gold and continue to improve and uphill their games on both ends of the floor. [player_tooltip player_id="158517" first="Halle" last="Hageman"] 2022 5’6" PG NW Stars Navy/Mountainside HS - The electric guard from Mountainside had a significant game versus a tough around the edges ABA team as she was a do-it all guard with the ability to change the pace of the game at a moment’s notice. Hageman contributed 9 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals as an ignited guard who makes plays in both the transition and half-court setting - with a lot of high energy and dynamic moves. Zoe Borter 2023 6’0" SG Clutch Rose/Beaverton HS - Borter is a slashing guard who has a lot of upside as a versatile scorer, as she can hit the open shot alongside the perimeter and creates a lot of plays with her high activity as a ball handler. She is crafty getting to the paint and shows a lot of persistence and innovativeness, showing the uncanny ability to get skill points in a myriad of ways - and with style points. [player_tooltip player_id="207826" first="Audrey" last="Kehoe"] 2022 5’11" SF NW Stars White/West Linn HS - Audrey is a versatile wing who brings a certain edge for NW Stars White as a calculated and aggressive scorer in the paint who plays with a lot of resilience and fluidity around the block area. Kehoe has made strides as a consistent scorer as well as calculated rebounder as the West Linn native has garnered a reputation as a fierce competitor with many ways to contribute to her squad at any given time. [player_tooltip player_id="204575" first="Afton" last="Keeney"] 2021 6’0" PF Clutch Cardinal/Westview HS - Keeney is a forward with a solid frame who plays exceptionally big in the post as a refined and skilled scorer with upside on both ends of the floor. Versus Oregon Elite Gold - a team with considerable size she was a consistent cog as as interior scorer as the Westview forward contributed a 13 point, 6 rebounds effort where she turned it on during the second half - propelling Clutch Cardinal to a victory. Honorable Mention [player_tooltip player_id="207819" first="Carly" last="Stone"] 2022 5’6" SG NW Stars Navy/Mountainside HS - Carly is a dynamic guard who has a keen eye for the highlight play, whether it is an adept pass or a score from the perimeter. She doesn’t need a lot or room nor give a lot of notice when she lets it go from deep, which Cal Sparks Gold found out the hard way. Stone had a trademark performance versus the talented Adidas squad as she contributed 12 points, sinking four three-pointers in a game where offense was difficult to come by. [player_tooltip player_id="207821" first="Gracie" last="Arnold"] 2022 6’1" PF Oregon Elite Gold/Cottage Grove HS - Gracie is the tough interior defender that plays with a certain demeanor that is hard to match - however, she has made strides as a perimeter shooter, upping the ante on her offensive game. She is able to hit the wide open three-pointer, as at 6’1" this gives her a lot of upside as she has the ability to see over her defender and has good mechanics on her shot. [player_tooltip player_id="158524" first="Lindsey" last="Wilson"] 2022 6’0" PF Oregon Elite Gold/Mountainside HS - Wilson is a blue collar forward who works tirelessly on the block as a significant rebounder and established scorer on the block. She had a prolific 14 point, 7 rebound effort as she made her money on the block as a disciplined and strong scorer who brings consistency on that realm. Wilson seals her opponents well with the combination of calculated positioning and consistent physicality.
